Atsushi Nakajima, shape-shifting “weretiger,” serves as the focal point of Bungo Stray Dogs tale. The Armed Detective Agency, crimefighting organization that specializes in supernatural situations that the police cannot ordinarily handle, gives the social outcast and orphan new purpose. The episodes also explore Nakajima’s and his friends’ business decisions and Mafia-related mission experiences. My Hero Academia one of Bones’ most well-known works, centers on Izuku Midoriya, a high school student growing up in a world where people with superpowers rule. Midoriya strives to be the greatest superhero after his hero All-Might and is eager to follow in his footsteps. Many of the high caliber anime created by the Maruyama Animation Produce Product Association have won over fans. Every time MAPPA announces an anime version of well-known manga, devoted fans can relax knowing their favorite series will have top-notch translation. After its 2020 anime release, Jujutsu Kaisen rapidly rose to become one of the most well-known shonen series. Yuji swallows the finger after fierce battle with doomed spirit to become the King of Curses’ vessel. Despite being given the execution penalty, he buys some time by pledging to locate the remaining Sukuna fingers. One of the most eagerly awaited series for 2022 was Chainsaw Man All eyes were on MAPPA in anticipation of the anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s best selling manga. Fortunately, the anime has surpassed predictions and even caused people to fall in love with CGI, which is typically frowned upon in anime fandoms. Denji is attacked by the yakuza, who nearly murder him, and Chainsaw Man then pursues him. His beloved dog Pochita, who is also the Chainsaw Devil, saves his life by uniting with it. Makima then enlists Denji as Public Safety Devil Hunter to help eradicate demons considered to be a danger to society. The 1980s are the setting for the movie Banana Fish in New York. The anime, which stars Ash and Eiji, is renowned for its tragic storyline and dark, political commentarylaced content. In order to unravel the mystery of the titular “banana fish,” a medication that brainwashes everyone who consumes it, Ash and Eiji get together. Two little girls who make friends with the spirit-monsters next to their new house are the focus of My Neighbor Totoro The masterpiece by Hayao Miyazaki is a delightful journey through youth. My Neighbor Totoro’s pastoral vistas of peaceful summer afternoons and its jovial ensemble of characters give the film an alluring charm and warmth. A near-perfect tale of innocence, hope, enjoyment, and the pleasures of childhood has been written by Miyazaki. The epic tale of forest princess who mobilizes to fight automation and expansion that threatens her people and their home is told in Princess Mononoke one of Studio Ghibli’s most well-known films. This meticulously crafted blend of myth, folklore, and fantasy has variety of monsters, magical creatures, and endearing people along with lavish hand-drawn artwork and moving music. delivering an engaging story before its time. Madhouse The renowned Madhouse one of Japan’s most illustrious and established animation companies. These people created some of the most daring and unconventional anime, breaking from the norm yet still managing to create their own trends. It should go without saying that Madhouse carefully selects their adaptations and devotes their entire being to animating them. Madhouse is no stranger to claiming first dibs on unwillingly violent heroes in action-oriented anime. Another of their works that plays with this cliché Parasyte The Maxim This time, the theme surrounds Shinichi Izumi, who was unintentionally picked by Migi, an alien parasite that gave him some cool but unsettling abilities despite failing to take over his brain. Being the upright person he is, Shinichi is determined to use his newfound abilities for good while battling Migi for control of his body and morality. It is comparable to anti-hero comic novels like Venom in this regard. The One-Punch Man manga, one of the most popular parodies in the anime world, was introduced to the globe by Madhouse. They were in charge of the provocative show’s first season, which is a big responsibility. One-Punch Man stands out for defying convention by mocking shonen anime heroes while simultaneously including its own motivational shonen hero. Saitama, the main character of the anime, used to be meager salaryman. Saitama makes the decision to train for three years nonstop after experiencing a small epiphany. Eventually, he loses all of his hair and develops the ability to defeat any foe with a single punch. He eventually even got tired of being the best until powerful being from another world challenged him. The Madhouse anime Death Note is still having an impact on anime culture today. It was the show that defined a generation. It’s an anime, after all, where the protagonist doubles as the enemy. Light Yagami would be that. He is also alarmingly intelligent to the point of villainy, unlike most shonen protagonists. All of this occurs as result of death god or a shinigami who is bored leaving their Death Note in the realm of humans. When Light accidentally finds it, he learns that he can kill anyone by simply writing their names on it. “I would like to make a film to tell children “it’s good to be alive”.” ― Hayao Miyazaki • 15 April 2023 • Akushon 14 •Akushon April 2023 Image by Tatsuki Fujimoto Image by Takeshi Obata
