I have always been surrounded by art and loved every moment of it, whether it was reading, admiring others art, or creating art myself. I began my creative journey with fine arts. Experimenting with different mediums like acrylic paint, oil pastels, clay and eventually stumbled onto graphic design. I changed majors my first semester of college and after looking at my other options, I found Graphic design and Advertising. As soon as I took the first few classes, I fell in love with it.

My recent designs are a combination of expression and communication design. There is always something I will need to say no matter the medium I am using. That is something I will always help my client do, express what they want to convey for the designs or advertisements. From this I hope to inspire and amaze the people who view my designs, that will always be the goal for my art.

1 Pride & Prejudice Book Design

The main goal of the design was to capture the message of the story in a book cover that reflects it. To accomplish this, I chose the design with a silhouette of the two characters facing away, but inside the silhouette is the pair in an embrace to symbolize their journey from rejection to deep affection.

2 Vogue Redesign

The Vogue website serves as a comprehensive platform for fashion enthusiasts, offering a curated blend of trendsetting articles, editorials, and insights into the latest in haute couture and global style trends. The goal was to renovate the existing website to make it both visually appealing and easy to go through.

3 Ripple Chocolate Bar

Their name Ripple reflects the brand’s innovative approach to chocolate-making. By incorporating unexpected flavor combinations and unique textures, Ripple Chocolate creates a ripple of excitement in the culinary world.

4 Sculptures

There are several art mediums I aquired growing up. From traditional drawing and painting to digital design, I also picked up sculpting in high school. I recently got back into it with a class I took my senior year of college. Here are some sculptures I worked on.

5 Product Photography

The goal for this series was to study the design principles and with our chosen product, capture photos using the design principles. Some I chose was the s-curve, man made tessalation, white space, perspective, and contrast.

6 Event Emblem Logo

The goal was to create a logo for the Neon Bliss Music Festival that was going to be held in California. I decided to emphasize the theme of the event, which was a groovy 70s vibe. I also had the opportunity to create supporting items that were going to be handed out at the event, which you will find on the next page.

7 Captivations Advertising

Captivations is an immersive art gallery with several interactive art works from several different artists. From light shows to a virtual reality show to an art piece that lets you add pieces of tape to it, this is truly an amazing experience for anyone, young and old. I collaborated with this company and created a series of media elements for the company from a website to several social media advertisements.
