It wasintheendof January 2020 whenI decidedthat I would nolonger color my hair.I hadcoloredit for thelast timethe week of my 48thbirthday at theendof January I mostly stoppedcoloringit becauseit just becametomuchtokeepup.I wascoloringevery coupleweeksandmy hair wasnolonger healthy Thechemicalsinthecolor alsoplayedahugerolein my decision. I wantedtobethehealthiest meandI knew that thechemicalsdefinitely weren't helping.I stopped coloring about amonthandahalf beforeCovidhit andthelock downs happened I dobelievethat madeit easier for metocontinueto let my natural hair grow out.

What haveI discoveredduringtheprocessof growingout my gray? Many things! For example...I've learned that women tendtooverthink andevencomplicatetheprocessof going gray, myself included! Wonderingthebest way todoit, worryingwhat peoplewill think, evenstressingabout thebest productstouse Ladies, pleasedon't dothistoyourself I promiseyouthat your way isthebest way...I promise! Don't look aroundtoomuch...look inside.

The most surprising gift that I've received isa confidence that I have never had before The transformation isnot only physical it also occursvery much inside us! I think it comes from the freedom of letting go of othersjudgmentsand our own fears it makesyou feel like a rebel! What I want people tolearnfrommy story istodowhat makesyouhappy (aslong asyou'renot hurtingothers).Pleasedon't complicatethe process, but insteadembraceit andenjoy theentire transformation

Behappy withyourself soyoucanoffer your love and light to the world. Stop listening to what society says we need to do to make us happy and start listening to what your heart and soul is telling you!
