Welcome to Historic Glenbrook Valley! Wednesday, June 29, the Houston City Council voted 10 to 4 to create the Glenbrook Valley Historic District. We are the first historic district outside the IH 610 Loop, the first post World War II historic district in the state of Texas, and research is currently being conducted because there is a possibility that we are the largest mid-century modern historic district in the nation.
