The condition of our streets goes beyond deplorable! When is the last time any of our streets have been rebuilt, resurfaced, or adequately repaired?

Water has started to stand on more of our streets with each heavy rain. The reason water stands on many streets is collapsed or clogged drains. Many of the sunken areas in the streets happen because of the collapsed infrastructure beneath. The civic club has asked on every Capital Improvement Plan request form since 2004 that Dover, Glen Valley, and Glen Loch be rebuilt. To our knowledge, we've never been considered. Add to that, with each mayoral change the requirements to be considered change. Neighbors, we need to get City Hall's attention on Glenbrook Valley streets! When you see water standing on any one of our streets, report it to 311. Report standing water locations daily until the street dries up. Register your complaint about our streets to all of the following 311; Mayor Turner, 832-393-1036; Council Member Gallegos, 832-3933011; at-Large Council Members Knox, 832-393-3014; Robinson, 832-393-3013; Kubosh, 832-393-3005; Edwards, 832393-3012; and Christie, 832-393-3006.
