Guest speakers: Clark Condon Landscape Architects Glenbrook Valley marker update: The large neighborhood identifying marker on Broadway will be "refreshed" to be compatible with the new landscaping on Broadway and will reflect our mid-century history.

The destroyed marker at Bellfort and Glen Loch will be re-established, and the marker at Bellfort and Glencrest will be "refreshed" to reflect our history as well.

Clark Condon Landscape Architecture firm will introduce us to the "refreshing" plan! Please join us and let us know what you think. You may also make a contribution to the fund at that time, if you'd like.

We have also become an attractive area for uncaring people to dump their pets. You can call 311 to report the stray. After the second sighting call Council Member Gallegos's (832-393-3011) office to report it. Also, please report the location to your section director.

It is the civic club's hope that reporting and tracking will help greatly reduce the number of roaming animals in Glenbrook Valley. We are also working with Council Member Gallegos to have BARC do a sweep of our neighborhood in our effort to minimize the problem.

Si usted tenía la oportunidad de prevenir un crimen antes de pasó, ¿tomaría la oportunidad?

O ¿dejaría que el crimen ocurriera y que la policía lo manejara?

Si su respuesta es “¡Sí!” que tomaría la oportunidad de prevenir un crimen, quizás debería considerar juntarse con Ciudadanos en Patrulla (C.O.P. por sus siglas en ingles). Ciudadanos en Patrulla es un grupo vecindario no confrontacional. Se piden a los participantes que vigilen por actividad sospechosa en Glenbrook Valley y lo reporten a la policía cuando lo vean. Los requisitos para juntar son que sea residente de Glenbrook Valley, pase una verificación de antecedentes, y siga un bosquejo básico de portamiento proveído por HPD mientras que patrulle.
