A Glenbrook Valley Tradition Continues! Delicious Covered Dish Dinner & BINGO! Thursday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m. It’s almost BINGO time! Whether you’ve been in Glenbrook Valley for a month, a year, or decades – the annual Bingo Game and covered dish dinner is a great way to have a fun night out and meet some of your neighbors. Plan to join everyone Thursday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Glenbrook United Methodist Church, 8635 Glen Valley @ Wilmerdean (next to Dow Park.) Bring your favorite dish! It’s a great time to taste a variety of foods and to discover new recipes, or places to buy extraordinary foods. Iced tea, coffee and punch, will also be available. Take this opportunity to make new friends and renew old friendships. The event is free for Civic Club members, and $15. for nonresidents and guests. Residents can pay their membership dues at the door if you haven’t had a chance to mail in your membership for 2014. Also, prizes are needed for the Bingo game. If you are able to donate a prize, or know of an area business that can donate a prize, let me know. The home owner then applies through the Historic Preservation Dept. of the City for a Certificate of Appropriateness.
