Even the geese are waiting for spring. These geese were spotted next to a pond tucked away in Hampton Manor in East Greenbush. This pond is not only a quiet place to take a break from a busy day but it’s great to walk around for a daily exercise routine. There are so many places like this throughout the county...places we drive by everyday and sometimes take for granted.

The Benefits of Therapeutic Massage Love your body Be kind to it,nourish it,tender it,it is the pure instrument of expression that allows you to experience life on this plane------------RAMTHA Massage Therapy has been known for centuries to reduce tension and ease sore muscles. Therapeutic Massage is an age-old remedy and health practice. Many healing systems including this culture, use hands-on-therapy to soothe aches and pains and facilitate the body’s own healing powers. Stress is an inevitable part of life. However, when we do not successfully recognize, divert or process the stressors that affect us,our body’s reaction becomes negative and goes into a phase called the “Flight or Fight Response”. When massage is experienced, the body creates ”The Relaxation Response”. This response reverses the damaging physiological effects of distress, resulting in slower heart rate, lower blood pressure and better circulation to internal organs. Massage breaks the accumula tion of stress-related symptoms. BENEFITS OF THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE *Helps relieve stress and aids relaxation. *Helps relieve muscle tension and stiffness. *Fosters faster healing of strained muscles and sprained ligaments; reduces sprain and swelling, reduces formation of excessive scar tissue. *Reduces muscle spasms. *Provides greater joint flexibility and range of motion to the joints. *Enhances athletic performance. *Promotes deeper and easier breathing. *Improves circulation of blood and movement of lymph fluids. *Reduces blood pressure. *Helps relieve tension-related headaches and the effects of eye strain. *Enhances the health and nourishment of the skin (which is our largest organ) *Improves body posture and body awareness. Certaintly Massage can be utilized on infants –which promotes many things, including better sleep patterns and relieves colic. Infant Massage can also help to improve sociability. Geriatric Massage which helps to make life more enjoyable by helping this population maintain their health and often regain physical capabilities that seemed lost. Healing comes from within, using forces not always seen and a foundation of healing based upon spiritual laws,as we are spiritual beings.
