THE SEASONS
SUMMER
The season for setting yourself free –Woo hoo!
I
t is said that in life we must celebrate our sacrifices and achievements, honour our efforts and take some time to just be and enjoy. For me the summer months are a time of personal fulfilment and vitality. The season brings long, warm days for enjoyment and celebration. Summer time is about acknowledging the abundance and individual freedom. Summer is also a good time to lose weight. A lighter diet of raw foods; including fresh fruits, clear veggie soups, quinoa, millet, barley salads and seafood is ideal. Go bushwalking, swimming and take brisk beach walks. During summer our senses become heightened and our passion for life and people is aroused. They don’t call it summer lovin’ for nothing! Express your love and free your heart by burning the playful aromas of ylang ylang, vanilla, jasmine, rose, orange and lime essential oils in your home and workplace this summer. – Rita Balshaw, author of Hippies in The City

SHOW
PUPPET MASTERS – Interview by Emily Holstein
K
eren Peter sits on her lounge room floor talking to her own hand. She hasn’t always talked to herself though, she assures me, not out loud anyways. I am here to meet Annie, the Ladybug puppet at the end of Keren’s arm who was an idea just over 6 months ago and who is now an amazing, Henson-style puppet with her very own bicycle drawn stage show. So how does one wake up one day and realise they want to be a puppeteer? “The first time I saw a puppet theatre I burst into tears of joy at the beauty and simplicity of it.” Keren says. “I wanted to inspire that awe, to bring magic and puppetry into peoples lives, to inspire them to do what they love!” As mother to a young family, her dream was also to find an inclusive and inspiring way for them to work together. “I wanted to create something that the whole family could be
involved with and enjoy. To find a balance of work and play, and allow us to travel and use our talents.” “it’s been a learning curve forming the concept from the ground up and learning to work with your husband creatively.”
A long way from her previous business adventures working for a green energy company and as one of the original founders of Gnostic Organics, one would say this is quite a leap for a young mum. Not Keren! She is also a seasoned fire and character performer. Having lived in the UK for 6 years and attended many of the big summer festivals in Europe Keren had really clear and clever ideas of what creates a memorable experience. Her hubby, Michael Peter, just happens to be a prominent (and gifted) singer/songwriter. He is responsible for the co-writing of the script and the music numbers throughout the show. “The G

script took us about 6 months to write but the music came naturally,â€? Says Michael. “It might also be that I have inadvertently spent much of the last three years listening to ABC for Kids‌â€? Within months of its creation the Ladybug Express was snapped up to perform at the coveted Woodford Folk Festival. From there, it was all systems go to get the locally conceived and created show, its cast and the mobile theatre up to standard for a large festival event. Despite the hectic rehearsals, refining songs and costumes and bringing up a three year old in and amongst a home business Keren is energised and passionate. “Don’t get me wrong,â€? she says, “its been a learning curve forming the concept from the ground up and learning to work with your husband creatively.â€? “We’re very honest with each other,â€? says Keren “not taking things personally when we critique one another makes for a better show!â€? Their three year old daughter, Esh, has been their best critic to date. She is excited about what mum and dad are doing and have even started mimicking the characters. “We’re probably manipulating her into a future creative career,â€? Michael muses, “but she might become an accountant though – you never know!â€? The characters include; Annie, a shy but intelligent little ladybug with a wild imagination and a dream to sing on stage; Crow, the cynical bird brain with a penchant for dad-jokes and Mousekewitz, a philosophical little mouse. There’s foam and felt flying as I leave their colorful loungeroom. Humming the theme song for the Lady Bug Express to myself as I head back up their driveway, I find myself basking in the warm glow of what happens when love and creativity mix. The Ladybug Express next performances will be at Avoca Beach Markets and Woodford Folk Festival. Check them out at www.theladybugexpress.com.au

ou’re standing in the aftermath of Christmas morning. All around your feet lies the debris of gifts unwrapped… Hearts’ longings revealed after the sweet torture of the veiled touching, poking, prodding, squeezing, shaking, smelling, listening. Hearts’ longings revealed. ‘I wonder what it is?’ All but the gift giver asks. ‘I hope it’s...’ whispers the loved one whose name graces the cheerful little gift tag. They are named, these gifts, and some have your name on them. You sit, bleary eyed on Christmas morning, having woken from such a short sleep... Or was it a long sleep? We can’t remember anymore – All we know is that we once were asleep, and now we are awake. We are awake, and we sit cross-legged on the floor with an abundant pile of carefully wrapped presents sitting there in front of us. Each of them bearing our name. ‘Open your presents!’ our dear guardians invite us – just as excited as we. Just as buzzing with delight are the givers as the given to. So we open our gifts – Some of us tearing in, ripping our way through that flimsy coating of Christmas candy red. Some of us carefully revering the colourful paper clothes our desires wear. Either way, it’s but a blink of an eye before the room is strewn with the vestiges of the hidden, careful cloaking. (All the better to make the reveal a surprise.) We who sit in our cross-legged poses like wee gods accepting offerings. We who sit and open – our lips part, and we tenderly make these sounds – ‘It’s exactly what I was dreaming of.’ Because it is, of course, exactly what you were dreaming of.
Did you not know your dreams are not hidden? Oh no, even as you sleep, your dreams are projected in all their brightest colours on the sweet darkness in which you slumber. And certain guardians, who come to check on you in midnight hours, stand enthralled at the intricacy, the beauty, and the perfection with which your dream life lights up the blank canvas walls of this space. And, ever wanting to show you love in greater and more perfect ways, these watchers take notes on the things you dream – detailed, intricate notes. Every smallest thing noted. And, in all the nights, through all the seasons that you sleep, they work on making these dreams of yours manifest. To the very finest, intimate detail. Points of perfect so small that you, in your hazy half wake, sit with these perfect gifts around you and declare in awe – ‘It’s even better than I imagined.’ It’s not. It’s everything you ever dreamed. It’s every rocket of desire you have ever launched in even the smallest moment of friction induced clarity – Everything is here. You stand in your stupor, waiting for the moment when it really sinks in. You gaze around and, for a moment, all you see is the ‘mess’ of it – The aftermath of this unwrapping. For the briefest of seconds, all you see is the flimsy wrappers of your deepest desires... And you judge it ‘mess’. For a second, you my friend, cannot see the forest for the trees. You forget what’s hidden under and amongst this festoon of wrapping paper at your feet. Only for a second, mind you, then you shake your head again, blink your almost truly woken eyes, and you remember – You woke up this morning to presents lovingly wrapped and inscribed with your name. Gifts you dreamt in the sacred sleep of even your darkest nights – the desires of your heart, created just for you, given to you in love, and enticing from your lips those perfect sounds – ‘This is exactly what I was dreaming of. This is perfect.’ It’s like all your Christmases come at once… Big Love, Gabriella See more at www.gabriellasalmon.com G

MY guide to
summer slacking
Th e I m p o rta n c e o f B e i n g L a zy
A
h, summer. those lazy days lounging on the beach, splashing in the surf and licking ice blocks. At least that’s how it used to be. Lately, I’ve rarely felt the sand between my toes due to a frantic schedule of work, motherhood and household duties. So, this year I’m getting my summer slackness on. I’ve decided to relearn how to be lazy. And before you start, no I don’t believe that lazy is a dirty word. I know we’re often told that in order to live fulfilled lives we must squeeze the life out of every available minute – but I disagree. I actually think that being lazy now and again can be the perfect pathway to happiness. It’s a chance to let your mind slip sideways and your body rest. It’s a time to de-stress and let go of all those wretched ‘coulds’ and ‘shoulds’. So, here are some top lazy tactics I’m going to give a try: Lie-ins: I’m usually up at sparrows fart to shower, breakfast, get my four-year-old ready, walk the dog or start work. I’m thinking a once a week lie in will restore my soul. Eat less: I don’t enjoy cooking but feel the pressure to make good food for my family, but there’s nothing wrong with simple lazy food. I’m sure even Jamie Oliver eats beans on (gluten free) toast sometimes. Keep it local: Shopping locally rather than trekking to the nearest shopping mall, not only saves me time but boosts my community. Stop tidying: I’m a neat freak who stresses if my tablemats aren’t tessellated correctly – even if I don’t have visitors. But really, who cares? G
10
Being less obsessed will give me plenty of lazy time. Switch off: Not just the phone and the computer, but also the TV. Although flopping in front of the telly can seem like true laziness, it often leaves me feeding jaded. Everyone needs time to completely disengage. I reckon, by adopting just this five simple tactics, I can bring a lot more lazy time into my life. I may get bored, but I’m going to push through, because it’s been proven that boredom is good for you When you’re bored, there’s nothing else to do but think. Boredom is nearly always essential to creativity… According to Wijnand van Tilburg, from the University of Limerick, co-author of the paper, Bored George Helps Others: A Pragmatic Meaning-Regulation Hypothesis on Boredom and Prosocial Behaviour. “Boredom makes people long for different and purposeful activities, and as a result they turn towards more challenging and meaningful activities, turning towards what they perceive to be really meaningful in life.” Or as Adrian Savage editor of online life coach site www.lifehack.org puts it: “Being bored turns your mind inward and encourages reflection. When you’re rushing about, there’s no time to think. When you’re bored, there’s nothing else to do but think. Boredom is nearly always essential to creativity.” Yes, this summer I’m going to let things flow. I’m going to get seriously lazy and seriously bored. So, if you see me snoozing on the beach, licking a lolly or just starting blankly into space, don’t bother me okay? I’m experimenting with my lazy side. SOULSPEAK
Jayanti Devi Dasi
Your name and title/responsibility within your beliefs? My spiritual name as given by my spiritual master is “Jayanti Devi Dasi”. My birth name is “Jaya Ramachandran”. I prefer using my spiritual name. I do not have a specific title but have a number of responsibilities, both priestly and secretarial Hare Krishna farm at Millfield, NSW. What is your religious/spiritual belief and its lineage? Gaudiya Vaishnavism, more popularly known as “Hare Krishna”, originating from Vedic philosophy and wisdom. The Hare Krishna movement (also called the International Society for Krishna Consciousness) was introduced in the West by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1965. How did you come to your beliefs? I grew up in a God conscious family but was introduced to the Hare Krishna philosophy by my sister. Some of the ideas she presented were “we are not our body but an eternal spirit soul, and the purpose of having a human body is to understand the ultimate goal of life, which is service to God. Since our eternal position is to serve, we find utmost happiness and satisfaction in serving without any expectations as opposed to serving our senses”. These ideas resonated with me and I started to read a number Swami Prabhupada’s books. This instilled a faith in me that he had no ulterior motives but genuine love for God. How have they shaped you personally? Personally, it has done me a whole load of good. Before coming to Krishna consciousness I was so much more materially motivated and all my interests were self-centered. It was always about me and my needs. I have realized I have so many bad qualities and unwanted habits that just make life so complicated. Even recognizing that we have so much baggage is a big step in making advancement spiritually. I am now taking one thing at a time and trying to be a better person. What are your challenges spiritually? Living and working in a competitive world has made me set some very high standards by which I operate. Unfortunately, I expect others to operate by these same standards thereby making me very critical of others, and causing me a lot of frustration and anger. With my spiritual practice, I am recognizing that this expectation is unhealthy not only for my physical and mental being but is also a potential threat to my relationships with others. How does your practice take form? My practice involves mantra meditation on beads for about a couple of hours, which I try and complete before I begin my daily activities. Since New Gokula farm also has a temple, I try and sing for at least one ceremony of arati (a series of various offerings to the deities occurring five times a day) everyday. I also attend or
give the morning class on Swami Prabhupada’s version of the Srimad Bhagavatam, the exposition of Vedic knowledge. It covers everything from the nature of the self to the origin of the universe! I only eat fresh, healthy vegetarian food called prasadam (food sanctified by Lord Krishna) Every Sunday we have the Love Feast programme, which is attended by many visitors to the New Gokula farm. This involves the arati ceremony, a lecture and is followed by sumptuous vegetarian feast for all. To what end do you practice your beliefs? Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita says, “He who meditates on Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, his mind constantly engaged in remembering Me, undeviated from the path, he, O Pārtha, is sure to reach Me.” (BG 8.8). And Also, “Whoever, at the end of his life, quits his body, remembering Me alone, at once attains My nature. Of this there is no doubt.” (BG 8.5). I am trying to practice Krishna Consciousness so that I will remember Lord Krishna at the time of leaving my body and go back to Him, attaining my original state of being eternal, full of knowledge and bliss. Please share with us a short quote, lyrics, prayer or short teaching that has inspired you lately. I am always inspired by the Hare Krishna mahā-mantra whether I am singing it or engaging in mantra meditation. In Sanskrit, man means “mind” and tra means “freeing”. So a mantra is a combination of transcendental sounds that frees our minds from the anxieties of living in the material world. The Vedic teachings recommend everyone (irrespective of beliefs) to chant this great mantra for deliverance. hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rāma hare rāma rāma rāma hare hare Krishna means “the all-attractive one”, Rāma means “the all-pleasing one”, and the name Hare is an address to the Lord’s devotional energy. The mahā mantra means, “O all-attractive, all-pleasing Lord, O energy of the Lord, please engage me in Your devotional service”.energy of the Lord, please engage me in Your devotional service”. Jayanti Devi Dasi is from the Hare Krishna farm at Millfield.

Research at the Harvard School of Public Health also found a 70% increase in Parkinson’s disease amongst farm workers exposed to the pesticides present in fresh produce and meat sold in these supermarkets. The US Environmental Protection Agency considers 60% of these herbicides, 90% of these fungicides, and 30% of these insecticides potentially cancer causing. Because of children’s small body weight and need for high energy foods, children receive four times the exposure of many common pesticides. Choosing to feed your child organic produce is the first step to ensuring a healthy and balanced future, not only for their bodies, but for their attitude towards food. It is important to know what you’re
eating, what it contains, A commercial and where it has come Granny smith from. eaten in April The fact is that organic CAn Be almost food simply tastes better. a year old! Organic fruit and vegetables are fresher, and sold only when in season. The actual picking time of apples is relatively short, only stretching from January to April. The industry takes its best apples and essentially puts them to sleep for up to 11 months. They are stored at zero degrees and deprived of oxygen. Blueberries and pears face similar treatment. A commercial Granny Smith eaten in April is often almost a year old. Choosing organic is also a matter of choosing supportable progress. Organic farming prevents soil erosion, protects water quality and promotes biodiversity. If the only way to make a difference is through your wallet, then your dollar is your vote. Buying organic produce means voting for a healthier body and mind, tastier meals and a sustainable environment for future generations.

Gnostic Mana Cafe chef Levi Randall is back on the coast after 10 years pursuing his cooking dreams in Sydney. His experience runs from funky Bondi cafes to upmarket eateries like the Bathers Pavilion at Balmoral. “I got the love of cooking from my mother. From about 5 years old I would drag her into the kitchen to cook! Growing up mum had this great friend from Thailand who showed us how to prepare real asian dishes – it’s still one of my favourite styles of food to make.”

Step 1 Place the fish in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Add the coriander, cornflour, fish sauce, sweet chilli sauce and egg, and process until well combined. Step 2 Transfer the fish mixture to a large bowl. Add the shallot and beans and stir until well combined. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Place 4 egg rings in the pan. Divide the fish mixture into 8 equal portions. Press 1 portion into each egg ring. Cook for 4 minutes each side or until golden brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel. Repeat with the remaining fish mixture, reheating the pan between batches. Step 3 Meanwhile, to make the herb & peanut salad, place the Asian salad mix, coriander, peanuts, oil and lime juice in a large bowl and gently toss until just combined. Step 4 Divide the fish cakes and salad among serving plates. Serve with lime wedges and extra sweet chilli sauce.

Gnostic Mana Cafe features monthly exhibitions from the Central Coast’s leading artists. JANUARY: Julia Tuke Julia Tuke is a self-taught artist with a love for landscape. She has spent her working life in graphic design and teaching, devoting herself to fine art only in recent years. Julia has made two appearances in the Gosford Art Prize and in November 2013 participated in a group exhibition at the Edge Gallery, Brooklyn. Using an acrylic medium, she attempts to capture the peace and simplicity of the Australian landscape. Much of her work depicts the Hawkesbury River and surrounding areas, but her true passion lies in the pastoral vistas of the Bylong, Lake George and the Milton areas. FEBRUARY: Marta Lett Marta’s background in graphic design is evident in her intricate & vibrant paintings featuring Celtic patterns and calligraphy (artful hand lettering) interlaced with native plants, animals, birdlife & insects. Human interconnection with the natural world is a recurring theme. The interplay with ancient Celtic patterns and Australian flora and fauna express her identity as Australian born with Celtic heritage. Some of Marta’s recent work has been inspired by her experience of place, travelling in France and the UK, and her deep interest in architectural aesthetics. Two pieces featured in this exhibition are ‘Dreaming Gaudi’s Serpentine Bench’ and ‘Notre Dame Interplay’ (prints on canvas). This exhibition is in two parts with miniature original works on paper, and her popular designs printed on canvas. To view more visit www.redbubble.com/people/martacelt MARCH: Karen Mcphee IMPRESSIONS OF WOY WOY This recent work is a response to living and working in Woy Woy. As genre paintings they interpret everyday life of ordinary people in work and recreation and comment on the cohesion between the urban and natural environment that co-exists within the area. My studies embrace studio based work which utilise sketches and photographic documentation and ‘plein air’, painting outdoors using direct observation. Within these paintings contrasting light and the fleeting moment are prominent features and vary from impressionist to abstract in style.

WHAT DO YOU SEE? A parable... as told by Venerable Master Hsing Yun
T
here was once an old lady who cried all the time. Her elder daughter was married to an umbrella merchant while the younger daughter was the wife of a noodle vendor. On sunny days, she worried, “Oh no! The weather is so nice and sunny. No one is going to buy any umbrellas. What if their shop has to close?” These worries made her sad and she couldn’t help but cry. When it rained, she would cry for her younger daughter. She thought, “Oh no! My younger daughter cannot dry noodles without the sun. Now there will be no noodles to sell. What should she do?” As a result, the old lady lived in sorrow every day. Whether sunny or rainy, she grieved for one of her daughters. Her neighbours could not console her and jokingly called her “the crying lady.” One day, she met a monk who was very curious as to why she was always crying. The monk smiled kindly when she explained and said, “Dear lady, you need not worry. I will show you a way to happiness” She immediately asked the monk to show her what to do. He continued “On sunny days, think of your daughter drying her noodles and being prosperous.” “On rainy days you can be grateful for your daughter selling many umbrellas” The old lady saw the light. She followed the monk’s instruction. After a while, she did not cry any more; instead, she was smiling every day. From that day on she was known as “the smiling lady.”
P
erception is a trick we play on ourselves. We think we have the ability to see reality when in fact all we can ever see is what we choose to and our behaviour follows this. (Yes, my friends, even at Christmas dinner when your life choices are called in to question by a drunken uncle.*) We undeniably have bias and our brain chemistry means that we become addicted to the feelings we entertain about things and people. Yep, addicted. (you junkie, you!) Physically. Steven Hyman, a former director of the National Institute of Mental Health, explains it as a function of the nucleus accumbens, a cluster of nerve cells that lie beneath the cerebral hemispheres of the brain. “When a human being or other animal performs an action that satisfies a need or fulfils a desire, the neurotransmitter dopamine is released into the nucleus accumbens and produces pleasure. It serves as a signal that the action promotes survival or reproduction, directly or indirectly. The system is called the reward pathway. When we do something that provides this reward, the brain records the experience and we are likely to do it again.”
G

Welcome to the reason for repeated face-palm, self destructive habits. (Hel-lo dopamine!!) We literally become addicted to destructive behaviours and destructive emotions even if we know they’re bad for us. Fear not, we are not at the whim of our junkie brains, we can be delivered from our destructive need for a ‘”fix”. When we entertain the possibility of reality being different than expected it allows us to explore a new way of behaving or responding. Once your clear on something being a pointless response/reaction or action you can make a new choice. Look for the patterns, my pretties! *Now I’m not saying that you should stay at the table and put up with someone else’s verbal poop. By remembering that you choose your perception you gain back power and can make choices to be happy with. That, and perhaps shining a light on his need to create ruckus at the table, make others feel like “less” for fun and discuss personal choices as if they need communal debate or comment might also shut down the tirade! – Emily Holstein, currently perceived as one of the new owners of Gnostic Rocks…
YOGA
Triangle Pose
T
riangle pose is a lateral or sideways standing pose that challenges balance, strengthens the legs and mobilises the hips. It stretches the torso and opens the chest to improve your breathing. The shape this pose creates appears simple but in reality is quite complex. It teaches the relationship between the upper and lower body, develops somatic intelligence and is a great building block for the more challenging standing poses. This pose creates a series of triangles in the body, resulting in a powerful stretch of the hamstring muscles (front leg) and calf muscles of the (back leg). Abdominal and muscles are stretched and strengthened. The upper side arm and hand reach upward which creates an opening of the chest and shoulders. The action of the upper arm reaching upward develops proprioceptive awareness as the upper body finds it correct alignment in open space. The lower side arm is fixed on the floor or against the leg which acts as a lever to fully open the chest. The organs of the abdomen and chest are stimulated by being squeezed and soaked as the body is forming itself into the Triangle Pose. This is a pose that can be accomplished by most practitioners regardless of Yoga experience. Like all poses the full shape is created over time using various tiers and props when needed. — John Wilson, Peninsula Yoga on Gnostic

TRAVELTURKEY
– CALEB Holstein
Day 2 in Turkey
3
am, wide awake (cheers jet lag!) What follows is my very first Turkish breakfast buffet consisting of preserved meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, assorted breads and more cheese… We travel to several mosques – phenomenal art works, ancient and very moving. In the afternoon we tour The Sultans Palace, the surrounding walls date back to the 15th century. My new camera gets a workout with over 400 photos (only got about 10 good ones) Hopefully, my strike rate gets better. Our next destination is the region of Cappadocia, so named after a historical region of Central Anatolia of the Persian Empire and which lies in central Turkey. We arrive in Goreme which has long been a popular tourist destination for its unique “Fairy Chimneys”, Tall tapering sedimentary rock formations. Its underground towns, also carved into these rock forms were once the hiding places for Christians during the Persian Empire. G
26
On our arrival in Cappadocia, we are met and transferred straight to a hot air balloon adventure company. Despite a language barrier we politely make our more immediate needs for a hotel known. Another fast trip across town and we arrive at our hotel. The “hotel” is more like someone’s house in a cave with all their personal ornaments filling our room. To imagine Goreme think of Coober Pedy on the side of a mountain and replace opal mines with ancient churches and monasteries.
The hotel is stunning with a foyer like a living room that opens onto a courtyard. I can honestly one of the best places I have stayed! We wake up at 4am to a knock on the door. Its our House “Father reminding us of our early morning balloon tour. We are soon in the air floating over the mountains and ancient homes set precariously high into rock faces. The colours filter through blue to aquamarine and golden orange – great fodder for my new camera and up there with the best experiences of my life (despite the crash landing). We ended up bouncing through a field of straw for a hundred metres, ended up on our side only to be greeted by laughing Turks popping champagne and serving breakfast as the sun rose over the hills. We spent the rest of the day discovering underground christian monasteries and admiring the unique rock formations from thousands of years of erosion. On our last day we hike through Rose Valley, a truly majestic place. Our tour involves going to several local businesses. Rug, jewellery and pottery traders, all are made with traditional methods local to the region.
The best was the pottery. The grand masters create the most precise and perfect artwork you could imagine. We then proceeded to walk through the underground cities that zig zag through tunnels. Through spaces just over a metre high and descending around 50 metres beneath the surface you begin to get a feeling of the ancient and secret history of this place. The end of the day sees us sitting drinking Turkish coffee and playing backgammon and fusbal with the locals. I will cherish these experiences forever and I am so lucky to travel the world and visit such amazing places with my better half, Elisha. Now, on to Izmir!
A master craftsman at work in Rose Valley.

P
racticality and silliness settle in to a happy and bubbly read in this fun and interactive quick read written by travel blogger and author Pam Grout. It’s hard not to feel drawn to read this if you have experimented with the way thoughts create things such as carparks or phone calls. Pam, however, takes the theory to the next level as she explains why our deep seated beliefs limit our experience and then sets down challenges in the form of scientific type experiments. More ‘smack-down challenge” than scientific thesis the tone of the book is kept light by the quotes and personal anecdotes peppered throughout. The combination of these provides a great reminder for those of us ready to create a wonderful life and might prove to be a good bridge for right-brain scientific friends and family who are dabbling with spiritual notions. Pam Grout is a genius in the way she presents this material. Many others have tried without translating the message in such a concise practical way.
