I think it’s pretty safe to say we’ve (finally) made it through the most challenging and daunting of the last fourteen months. I hope I am not speaking prematurely. Another season brings another set of amazing accomplishments, growth spurts, changes, friendships, partnerships, and new and notable GoGirls — and GoGuys — that we get to shine the bright, pink spotlight on. Not to mention our GoGirl Worldwide Magazine business model and digital strategy continue to change and grow, reaching more corners of the globe and showcasing a more diverse pool of talented, brilliant women in their respective fields and tireless philanthropic efforts. Newsflash: Female business opportunities are on the rise! Whether they’re climbing the corporate ranks in traditionally maledominated industries or leading the charge in the latest movement to empower other women, the ladies are continuing to crush it far and wide. We’re witnessing a delicious spike in women-founded, -owned, and -operated small businesses, specifically of the sweet variety. We’re particularly excited to be working with a few goalgetting Latina GoGirls making waves as independent Jeunesse consultants on the GoGirl global team and who we are presently working with to help open doors for other Latinas to break through traditional, societal roles that have been limiting them from experiencing their fullest personal potential. Expanding our timely mission and tireless message into other regions in order to educate, support, and inspire other diverse groups of women and giving them opportunities they otherwise might not have, has always been our number one goal. layfully referred to as “Mama Smurf” by the legions of women she’s friended and empowered throughout her personal journey from Algeria to Europe, to South Africa, to the Middle East, to America, Amira Barkat is holding nothing back. A top-earning Jeunesse Global business consultant, devoted mother, and steadfast philanthropist, the fun-loving, freespirited “elephant lover” wants to let aspiring GoGirls everywhere know they, too, have the courage to change their life and control their destiny. Growing up in a secluded, very small town in Algeria, Amiraa was born into a traditional family who valued and cherished societal, gender roles. Women were expected to clean, cook, take care of her husband and children, and not very much else. A child of divorced parents and whose brother suddenly passed at age 10, Amira 17 at the time, she was left with her two sisters and 16

mother. Without a formidable father figure in the household to help guide her growing up, including teaching her how to ride a bike, climb a tree, and get back up and brush off when you fall down, including many other important milestones many young girls get to experience without a second thought, Amira was simply told by her mother to get married, always say “yes,” and not be too difficult. So, Amira dutifully found a husband, eventually finding their way to South Africa where she stayed married for fifteen years before breaking tradition and saying “goodbye” for good. And, her journey continued.
From Heartbreak to Healing to Happiness It was during her time in South Africa that the irrepressible, rule-breaking Amira learnt the heart-wrenching news her sixyear-old son had developed a life-threatening tumor and was only given a week to live. Amira was blessed to have had an additional seven

From money, security, and a personal driver, Amira lived a life many women dream of. But, something was still missing, and Amira was on a mission to find it.
It was shortly after her arrival in the United States that Amira was introduced to GoGirl Worldwide CEO/Founder, Jennifer Murphy, who instantly detected a special spark in the multi-lingual, vivacious, single mother. For many months, Jennifer attempted to introduce Amira to the world of Jeunesse and present the unique business opportunity that could help Amira completely break from the confines of enduring, limiting, genderbased roles and empower her financially and economically. Finally. It was only after

Dancing to Designing Born and bred in Yucatan’s culturally rich, colonial capital known as Medina, located in the vibrant, Northwest region of Mexico, Maria was introduced to the art of discipline and the value of honest, hard work at an early age. A trained dancer since the age of three, Maria started each day with dance instruction followed by her academic studies. Born into a low-income family, Maria’s mother sold clothes and secondhand sundries, while her father was employed with the local police department. Her parents’ tireless work ethic would eventually shape, influence, and enrich Maria’s own hard work ethos and 44

unconditional values that would continue to inspire her goals for a lifetime. Showing up early for dance classes, then going to school afterwards, followed by performing in recitals throughout the region on the weekends, Maria quickly discovered the keys to success at an early age — earlier than most. Though her childhood proved challenging at times due to financial scarcity, Maria insists she would never change a thing about her humbled past. “I wouldn’t change anything from my childhood, for that has made me the person I am today — disciplined, fighting, and enterprising.” Her affinity for fashion started at a young age, too. Her mother and grandmother would create fun, trendsetting styles by hand. Seeing how fashion plays a role in peoples’ feelings and how they carry themselves in society, especially when they don styles and looks they love, Maria soon learned she was onto something really special. She wanted
to make people feel admired and adored through her fashion designs. Seeing people happy makes Maria feel confident and complete in her own life. Currently in her third semester at University, Maria is just getting started. She is positive fashion will be her lifelong career and plans to develop her own, unique brand in her homeland of Mexico, eventually expanding internationally. Creating fashion designs exclusively clothed from her hometown region of bustling Yucatan, Maria hopes to offer a fresh take on a cherished Mexican trend.

I met Fabio at a Halloween Party in 2019 at a beautiful mansion in Orange County. There were hundreds of people dressed in eye-catching costumes, but Fabio was dressed as “Fabio.” The requisite unbuttoned shirt, jeans, and boots. He definitely stood out and you could hear the collective whispers of excitement from many of the guests who couldn’t believe they had a chance to converse and take pictures with the iconic male sex symbol who melted the hearts of millions of women (and butter!) in the 90s. I was dressed as GoGirl head-to-toe (I know, big surprise! Lol!), donning my bright pink cape and all. When my friend Cherelle introduced me to Fabio, she told him I was former Miss Oregon and the founder of GoGirl Worldwide. During our brief, yet interesting, conversation, I learned he owned a secluded 500acre, sprawling ranch in Washington state, replete with cascading had waterfalls, three lakes, and all kinds of beautiful wildlife. We definitely connected about our love for the Pacific Northwest and the great outdoors. But midnight struck, and I was off before the carriage turned into a pumpkin. A couple of days later my friend told me Fabio wanted to ask me out to dinner. I replied, “Who could turn down Fabio?!” I agreed she could give him my number and that same day he and I had a long phone conversation during which I already began to realize this man was more than just a former sexy romance cover model. He had heart and depth, a deep and abiding love for his family, dedication and gratitude for becoming an American citizen and the American culture, an entrepreneurial spirit, and most of all a fearlessness and zest for living life to the fullest. He was also extremely witty and funny, making me belly-laugh many times. When Fabio pulled up to take me on our first dinner date, he was very much the gentleman — one who obviously respected women and held traditional values. Learning later about the strong relationship he always had with his Mother, as well as the passion and emotion he displayed when telling me about how he tried to save his sister’s life through alternative means to treat her cancer, I could see he had not lived a challenge-free life. But, what I found most striking was how he chose
to be happy hearted even when dealing with tough stuff, as well as appreciate the little, daily joys in everyday life. Walking through the Winery Restaurant in Newport Beach, my long, blonde hair flowing and Fabio a few strides behind with his long, signature, sunlit locks flowing just as much, we certainly had all eyes on us. Wonder Woman) He graciously agreed and was very kind to them. He told me, “These are my fans. Where would I be without them? I’m grateful to them.” Since our night at the Winery, I’ve become good friends with Fabio and we continue to keep in touch regularly. He’s even cooked me his favorite pasta dish from scratch — an Italian original! He’ll often check in via email or text, sending me hilarious memes and funny videos. Whenever I’ve shot and edited a new, funny video for YouTube, I’ll send it his way. I’m looking forward to teaming up with Fabio to make a funny comedic skit together, as well as have him as a guest on my show. If there’s one thing Fabio has (besides the obvious good looks!), it’s great comedic timing! But, I didn’t want my GoGirls to wait any longer to learn more about our larger-than-life GoGuy! This GoGirl Makes History as The First Black Female Navy Pilot to Earn her “Gold Wings”

ollowing in the militaristic footsteps of the pioneering women who’ve made U. S. Navy history before her, such as Rosemary Mariner who became the first female jet pilot in 1974 and Brenda Robinson, the first Black woman to advance to U. S. Navy flight instructor, evaluator, and VIP transport pilot in the 1980s (according to the nonprofit organization for Women in Aviation International), Lieutenant j.g. Madeline G. Swegle of Burke, Virginia, received her “Wings of Gold” late last summer after successfully completing tactical training last July 7th, officially becoming the first black woman strike pilot in U. S. Navy history. Swegle was named a naval aviator and awarded the prestigious, emblematic gilded naval aviator wings alongside her 25 classmates during an intimate ceremony at Naval Air Station Kingsville in Texas. This historical, milestone-in-the-making marks an aviator’s official completion of basic helicopter training in naval flight school. Despite the challenges of the Covid crisis over the past 14 months, the U.S. Navy is proud to have been able to graduate its largest class of strike aviators in nearly a decade. So, what exactly is a strike pilot and what is 60

their mission in regard to the U. S. military? A strike pilot flies the U. S. Navy’s strike aircraft, such as fighter jets, like the F/A-18 Super Hornet and the formidable F-35C Joint Strike Fighter, or the elusive, stealth EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft. “I’m excited to have this opportunity to work harder and flying high-performance jet aircraft in a fleet,” Swegle said in a statement. “…I never intended to be the first. I hope it’s encouraging to other people.” Swegle is now set to officially report to the Vikings of Electronic Attack Squadron 129 at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington to
begin training as an EA-18G Growler pilot. The training is designed to prepare the aviators in electronic, warfare tactics, techniques, protocols, and procedures, according to a U. S. Navy spokesperson. The trailblazing, lady lieutenant was publicly lauded by her Naval Air Forces Vice Admin. De Wolfe “Bullet” Miller III, saying, “Swegle has joined a select group of people who earned ‘Wings of Gold’ and answered the call to defend our nation from the air. The diversity of that group – with differences in background, skill, and thought – makes us a stronger, fighting force.” Inspired to become a fighter pilot after seeing the iconic film The Blue Angels with her parents as a little girl, Swegle insists, “I don’t think the goal in my life is to necessarily be the ‘first’ at anything…I am really honored I got to wear the wings and get to fly planes and call myself a pilot.” The sky is the limit for this fearless, jet-flying woman. 61

Getting a Handle on Haters Vito suggests the all-pervasive cancel culture that continues to claim another casualty by the day, whether it be a box of cereal, can of beans, pancake syrup, or a beloved beauty blogger, undoubtedly originated from social media and its multitude of platforms that don’t offer consequences for one’s nefarious actions against another. Social media hands everyone an anonymous microphone to voice their opinion, admonishment, denouncement — whatever — without repercussions, creating a collective cyberbully
effect. The dangerous result is inhibition of creativity, fear of backlash, and a direct assault on the First Amendment. While Vito is a staunch proponent of free expression, he believes all free speech should come with a price and one should accept the consequences of their words, but not to the extent they be eternally cast to the deepest dungeons and shuttered from polite society for all perpetuity. This is where he believes cancel culture represents a clear and present disconnect. Cancel culture is based on a single-sided mob mentality that seeks to conquer and destroy at any and all costs, and in most cases, egregiously lacks civility, respect, and empathy for its victims. The canceled artist, person, product, brand, or company isn’t afforded their side of the story, their argument, or their response, which is deeply disconcerting on so many levels in a supposed “free society.” But, there is a way to fight back, win the culture war, and survive the online bloodbath. Who hates? Vito suggests the hate-filled mob mentality stems from those who harbor deep, unresolved resentment, hurt, or pain that have really nothing to do with those they seek to cancel. Though, anyone unfortunate to have been on the chopping block of the merciless social media mob may beg
to differ. It takes some deep, mental reprogramming and hard work to wrap your head around ‘it’s them, not me” when the endless conveyor belt of brutal online attacks comes for you. It’s important to remember you’re never going to please these hateful, hurt people who desperately seek attention by deliberately destroying someone else’s life, and in most cases, livelihood. Your best course of action is to not apologize or bow down to the mob, but to flip the script on your haters. Here’s how. By apologizing, you’re admitting defeat for which you can never truly recover, so don’t do it. Instead, start by confidently engaging with the unruly opposition by suggesting a civil discourse and/or debate, which will only increase your followership and fanbase. When you stand your ground, don’t back down, and fiercely protect what you believe in, there’s no stopping you and there is nothing the haters can do to cancel you. Eventually, they’ll go looking for their next victim or, even better, begin to eat their own.
Stronger than Before: Recovering from Cancel Culture When Jennifer filmed her first version of the now-famous, self-deprecating “I Want to be a Neenja” video years ago, her business partner, Murphy Beds, dropped her due to the barrage of online hate the company was receiving. Labeled a “privileged, white, racist blonde,” from her legions of loyal, unrelenting keyboard cowboys and cowgirls,
Jennifer subsequently slumped into a deep depression for years following the now infamous YouTube video, only to revive the catchy, comedic song this past year, garnering millions of views on TikTok and becoming an instant social media hit — with even more haters. But, this time, things were different because Jennifer took the advice of Vito and cashed in on the controversy by not backing down and not apologizing. Vito had learned of the “racist” ninja video made by “that privileged, white, racist chick” through friends and instantly recognized the clever song when he heard Jennifer perform it live at an upscale restaurant in the Orange County. He knew it was his only opportunity to meet the funny, talented GoGirl with the catchy tune, so he introduced himself and they became instant friends, going on to do some cool business stuff together for e-commerce brands, including a popular 67
underwear brand, which was featured in GoGirl Worldwide Magazine last year. Vito was also responsible for bringing muchwelcomed testosterone to the pages of GoGirl Worldwide Magazine with our sizzling Hot Docs spotlight. he launch party for Jen’s latest music video “Star Stuff” took place at GoGirl Worldwide Headquarters in Newport Beach, California on July 5th and was a fun and patriotic celebration enjoyed by all who attended.
Jen performed several of her songs, while her music videos played on the big screen and guests enjoyed a bbq potluck and libations. Founder of GoGirl Worldwide, Jen gave a short speech about the message behind “Star Stuff”, and reiterated the song’s punchline, “We’re Better Together”, no matter what political or personal differences we have as Americans or as humans on planet Earth. The message that we can team together as private citizens to create solutions rings loud and clear in both the lyrics and with the diverse scenes Jen showcases during the the music video.
The catchy chorus “After all we’re all just made of Star Dust, after all we’re all just Star Stuff” was hummed and sung along to by many of Jen’s guests, many of whom said, “You did it again! It’s another earworm that I won’t forget!” Jen’s song “I Want To Be Neenja” now has 47 millions of views and has been spread far and wide on social media platforms and even mainstream television. In fact, a major TV network is currently filming a pilot to showcase Jen and her cult classic song and music video. Although some of her online “haters” accuse Jen of being “racist” for singing with a stereotypical broken Asian accent, most people see the satirical and lighthearted humor style and the positive intention that was always intended. Jen gives credit and actually thanks her “haters” for the extra exposure they helped her gain from the inception of her song, and also gives major accolades to her cowriter and brilliant musician and producer Dennis Woodard. “Obviously Dennis is a genius and people all over the world love our music. Jen would eventually meet Randy via a zoom conference and was immediately touched by his “teddy bear” like personality that could warm any heart. To learn that Randy grew up very poor, often without the everyday necessities, like food and a simple pair of shoes, which he hadn’t owned until his teens, helped Jen understand why he had such an overwhelming empathy for children in
need and underprivileged individuals. The staunch leadership and abiding benevolence of Randy, Wendy, and their son Scott radiate throughout the entire executive team and its family of global distributors. Jeunesse strategically launched on September 9th, 2009, at 9:09 pm. The number “9” represents “longevity” in many Asian cultures, while the word “Jeunesse” means “youth” in French. Because the power couple operated a previous booming business and top sales teams with a big presence in China, they began their initial efforts there, eventually expanding into other countries as they grew. Jeunesse hit an impressive $1 billion in sales with the first five years of their strategic launch. Tech giants Facebook and Apple have nothing on the beauty conglomerate. Although the founders have an altruistic spirit, their business brilliance also plays a role in their groundbreaking success for such a young company. They have built and sold big businesses in the past and didn’t financially need to create a new company. They chose to build a legacy company that would help
millions of people to not only improve their health and wellness but provide an exclusive vehicle for hundreds of thousands of individuals to become financially fit, economically empowered, and personally fulfilled. Randy and Wendy wanted to create that perfect life/work balance anyone could feel good about from anywhere in the world. In addition to the Jeunesse business, they created Jeunesse Kids, a non-profit organization that seeks to builds schools for impoverished children from third world countries, including Africa. Jeunesse also built a school for women in Kenya, where they work to educate children and women to break the poverty cycle, so the women can lead healthy, happy lives and pay-it-forward to the next generation of women. Randy and Wendy, along with many Diamonds and leaders in the company, personally visit the children, roll up their sleeves, and work hands-on with the many projects the organization creates. In addition to education, they also feed and clothe the children, while providing top medical care.
Buckle Up! The Road to Success Gets Off to a Bit of a Bumpy Start When Jen signed up in March 2020 as a distributor with Jeunesse, she was excited to introduce the company, products, and opportunity to her GoGirls and GoGuys, too. But, within a couple weeks the world was struck by the pandemic and things immediately took an unprecedented turn. Jen went from being excited to simply “spread the word,” to knowing she had a moral duty to share this opportunity with so many people who desperately needed a new stream of income — fast. Additionally, Jen became passionate about educating everyone about the importance of a healthy immune system and sharing a few of her favorite Jeunesse products that can be life changing. Jen’s GoGirl Jeunesse Team started small, mainly taking place over virtual Zoom meetings to accommodate for the shutdown that riddled the entire world economy for months on end. Technology has never been so appreciated as it was during those earlier months. But, over time Jen’s team started to boom! Although the company has offices 87
especially in the United States, that she decided to come out of retirement and begin her “second act.” Now that she and Jen are working together, the sky is the limit and there’s nothing these two gregarious, goal getting GoGirls can’t do!
Better Together: The GoGirl Jeunesse Team Grows
in 45 countries, and distributors in 150 countries, Jeunesse is still a well-kept secret in the United States. Jen and Sheri went on a two-woman mission to change all that. Sheri, a former preschool school teacher’s assistant in her thirties, became a single mother with a little boy, only making 11k a year and struggling to make ends meet. One day, after being approached about a network marketing opportunity, Sheri decided to dive in and start a new chapter. After all, she had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Her leap of faith would pay off BIG. She tirelessly pounded the pavement and within her first year, made a mindblowing 250k! It’s the perfect one-two punch that’ll take your life to the next level. Iris Pogue, for example, lost her job as a server at an exquisite, fine dining restaurant after the pandemic struck. Iris reached out to Jen desperate to learn more about GoGirl and Jeunesse and Iris Pogue after doing some due diligence and researching the company and products, she soon came on-board as a distributor and started using the products as well. Within a few weeks, Iris shed 23 pounds and within a few months, experienced a major health and
life re-boot thanks to Jeunesse. Stunned, her friends and family wanted to know what she was doing and asked if Iris could help them look and feel better, too. The results were contagious. Unsurprisingly, Iris quickly became a Sapphire Executive with Jeunesse and is on her way to a life filled of health and wealth, all while helping others. Amira Barkat, originally from Algeria, also joined Jen’s GoGirl Jeunesse team. Jen initially reached out to Amira to tell her about Jeunesse because she knew she had a big following of women in the dozens across the Middle East who admired Amira. At first, Amira wasn’t all that interested, telling Jen she was just too busy studying for her real estate license. But, being the tenacious GoGirl that she is, Jen never gave up and reached out to Amira months later, insisting she at least take another look at what the fuss was all about. However, it was Jeunesse Kids that stole Amira’s heart forever. When Amira learned about the juvenile non-profit, she was moved to tears and shared her heartbreaking story of how she had buried her son in South Africa when he was only six years old. She said, “Now I can work with Jeunesse to help the children in the county where I buried my son. It will bring the spirit of my son alive and I will do it in his honor.” Amira passionately shared Jeunesse with her “Smurfs,” her
gal pals from many countries who lovingly refer to Amira as “Mama Smurf”. Amira told Jen each of the women are unique and endearing, hence the nickname “Smurfs”. Now, many of her “Smurfs” have started their own Jeunesse business and are following in Amria’s footsteps to become financially empowered as well as pay-it-forward. Amira broke records, becoming Sapphire Executive status within 10 short days and her Jeunesse team is now in 30. You, GoGirl! GoGuy Alejandro Sanchez is also teaming up with Jen to launch a GoGirl Jeunesse team in the untapped Latin regions of Mexico and Columbia. The dynamic duo is working with Maribel Sanchez to launch a first-ever Latinabased GoGirl team right here in the U.S. Cindy Villareal, C.O.O. of GoGirl Worldwide, is also instrumental in working synergistically with these efforts and hope to have some exciting news soon! Diamond particles help deliver the retinol deep into the skin for revolutionary efficacy. I just make sure to let this performance-grade retinol oil fully absorb before applying my moisturizer. Word of caution: If you want to be a wrinkle warrior and win the war on wrinkles, sun spots, rough texture, and other aging woes, retinol is your first line of defense. Just be sure to protect skin with an SPF of 30 or higher in the day and don’t forget to re-apply every two hours if outdoors. Protect your investment!

Find out this fashion-forward fella’s unique technique when deciding the best colors for his most discerning clients. Here is a little of how that meeting went.
GoGirl Jen: John, what makes you passionate about what you do? John Frank: Well, I've always wanted people to look great with whatever they're wearing, so they can feel great in their social environment, profession, and special moments in their life. I want them to always look elegant, polished, and sophisticated… that they feel unique, exclusive, and comfortable and versatile all at the same time. And, this is the reason that inspires me to make designs for them. Seeing their needs inspires us to choose the fabrics and the colors…the design that best suits their complexion, while also depending on the time and occasion they need to dress for. Creating custom pieces comes out fabulous when made between designer and client. Every design comes out unique and exclusive, and people deserve and want to feel just that. Not only do we sell and design clothing, we advise our clients. But, we also consider the tastes and suggestions of our customers. GoGirl Jen: Now I understand why, although I pointed to a very light blue as the color I wanted for my suit, you strongly suggested this darker blue with a slight purple hue. You must know it will better complement my hair 108

Growing up a little girl with with an inventors’ BIG entrepreneurial spirit . . . When I was about seven years old my Dad showed me drawings he had made on various sheets of paper and described to me an idea he came up with that he wanted to turn into an invention. His drawings turned into a reality several years later when he launched his “Kwik Block”, a one-size-fits-all securing divide for pipes and wires that is non-corrosive and can be used for a multitude of purposes. As a contractor and electrician, my Dad solved a problem not only for himself and any contractor, but for numerous industries including military and Jen’s inventor Dad, Patrick Murphy #GoGuy aerospace organizations. His success didn’t happen over night, and it took many sacrifices for my Dad and our entire family. I remember the early days when we started manufacturing his Kwik Blocks we would come home from school and help package hundreds and sometimes thousands of the devices along into the banded packaging, making sure to seal it properly and add the correct amount of zip ties for each package. I was so proud of my Dad and his invention, and I could see him beam with pride when he closed big deals with companies like Home Depot and other large chains. But I also remember the challenges of mortgaging and then selling the big house he had built for our family, and moving into a mobile home in Southern Oregon to help us get out of debt and start fresh financially. It took years and years to finally get to a point where he was able to pay off the business loans and personal loans he had incurred, and eventually build us a new home on a beautiful piece of land. All of these years later my Mom now helps with the marketing of my Dad’s unique invention and has closed some big deals, including NASA, through her creative and effective efforts. #Go Mom! This experience has made me incredibly impressed with entrepreneurs and inventors. I respect their ideation and innovation. I value their sacrifices, work ethic and risks they often take. Partnership and Opportunity Wow! Every time I read or hear Tony’s bio I am reminded of how fortunate we are here at GoGirl Worldwide to have this extremely experienced, connected and proven business man join forces with us! Believe it or not, I actually had the pleasure fifteen years ago to secure a role as a model in one of Tony’s big-budget infomercials for a hair styling tool brand. I remember how professionally the production was handled, and I really loved the big paychecks I made from this one-day shoot!
