JW MARRIOTT DÉCOR In its original guise, the foyer at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa was designed to resemble a colonial club. Wooden balustrades on the sweeping staircase, rattan fans slowly waving back and forth and high white walls reminiscent of a different era. A refurbishment changed the look and feel and after listening to the feedback from guests and customers a decision was made to go back to the future.
