Restaurants Adapting to the
Times
The restaurant industry is just one of the many industries hugely impacted by the pandemic. Over 10,000 restaurants have closed their doors in Canada with no plans Jill Sadler to reopen and an estimated Owner/Manager Swine & Vine 800,000 jobs have been lost as a result according to Restaurants Canada. It is a looming statistic that is expected to grow.

Dining out as we know it has changed. Businesses who have not found a way to navigate the new terrain and pivot their businesses face the sad reality of joining that stat. As we continuously face everchanging guidelines and with the public being asked to stay home, our team at Swine & Vine is going online! Over the last year we have missed connecting with people over our love of food and drink so we now found the perfect way to bring our creations to you at home. Starting January 13 we will be hosting weekly Online Cooking & Cocktail classes over Zoom with Chef Denis Hernandez and Owner/ Mixologist Jill Sadler. It is the perfect way to bring the restaurant experience into your home and provide a fun activity to do with friends, loved ones or just to treat yourself. To all of the restaurant owners, bartenders, sommeliers, chefs and cooks who dedicate their life to this craft we support you and we will continue to work to keep this industry alive, whatever it may look like in the future.
