HOMES + E D I T O R ’ S N O T E It’s the season of gratitude... A great time to slow down and be thankful. For some, that means feeling grateful for family, friends, health, food, or shelter. Now is also a time to share what we have with others. Last month, our team participated in a fundraiser called the KW Realtor Run, because we wanted to give back. It was an enjoyable morning outdoors along the Walter Bean Trail near Grey Silo Golf Course. We were able to raise money to assist those less fortunate in our region. With thanks to our sponsors, we collected over $1,000 to support local organizations working to end homelessness: A Better Tent City, House of Friendship, Indwell and Lutherwood. Overall, participants raised more than $11,500! At HOMES+ Magazine, we love helping everyone find their next home, but we also acknowledge that housing is not always accessible. It takes a community to make home a reality for everyone. We hope you enjoy this beautiful season and all the incredible places to go and things to see. We encourage you to look for ways to give back and use your gratitude to build up someone else.
