Renaissance Village Harbors a Haunting Experience: Unveiling an Evil Harvest
Just minutes from downtown Atlanta, a sinister secret lies hidden in the heart of Fairburn. It’s a tale of centuries-old curses, agents of evil, and a young child’s descent into darkness. Welcome to “The Village – Evil Harvest Outdoor Haunt Experience,” a thrilling and spine-chilling adventure that dares the bravest souls to explore the depths of unspeakable evil.
Centuries ago, the ground upon which The Village now stands was cursed, unbeknownst to the countless residents who have called it home over the decades. Little did they know that an unspeakable evil was destined to awaken from its long slumber. Agents of evil, whether by design or accident, managed to summon spirits and ancient demons from the cursed land.
Among the horrors that have emerged from this cursed soil, one figure stands out— an embodiment of the darkness that has enveloped The Village. A young child, mistreated by his parents and forsaken by society, has thrived amidst the malevolence. He’s grown into a mindless killing machine, his purpose shrouded in darkness. His only aim: to harvest the souls of anyone he encounters as an o ering to the demons that now rule The Village. In this realm of
By Iesha Westmoreland
despair, no one is safe from his relentless wrath. Director of the experience Dave Dorrell states, “Think of it as Children of the Corn, but all grown up.”
This terror is not confined to mere legend— it is an experience that awaits those who dare to enter. This unique event, located on the grounds of the Georgia Renaissance Festival, is a two-part adventure that combines a carnival-style midway known as “The Courtyard” with games, food, beverages and music, and a ticketed walk-through outdoor haunt aptly titled “The Village.” The Courtyard experience is free to enter. The outdoor haunt experience requires a ticket purchase, with tickets ranging from $35 dollars at the gate or $30 online. The Village also o ers group rates and skip-the-line VIP access tickets.
As you venture into “The Village,” be prepared for intense, graphic scenes that incorporate simulated blood, flashing lights, loud sounds, and scenes of torture and death. It’s an immersive experience designed to test the limits of your courage and resilience. While the haunt is recommended for ages 13 and above, even the most seasoned horror enthusiasts may tremble in the face of such malevolent forces.
As the sun sets over Fairburn on September 29th, casting eerie shadows and setting the stage for a night of terror, questions remain: Will you be one of the curious souls brave enough to venture into the heart of darkness? Can you brave the malevolent spirits and long-dead demons?
The Village – Evil Harvest opens on September 29 and runs every Friday and Saturday night through the end of October. Find more information on the website – www.garenfest.com/haunt.
