It is truly an honor for us to acknowledge not only your measured success, but all it has taken to get here. Your willingness to be a lifeline to the world comes with great sacrifice, to you and your families. For that we

Each year we commission a theme that will set the atmosphere and cast a vision for our celebration. Tonight’s theme is REVERENT WONDER. Luke 5:26 says “Everyone was gripped with great awe and wonder, and they praised God exclaiming “We have seen amazing things today.” Our goal is to set an atmosphere that declares REVERENT WONDER. With every song sung and story told let us all reflect on the God of wonder and raise the roof with praise. Tonight, we have come together for more than just an award show! The Dove Awards is a platform that promotes a diverse group of creative people who have accepted a kingdom assignment. This is a unique event where we will experience an amazing God and feel the impact of what He is doing through music and media to reach a world in desperate need. Thanks to TBN and their team, tonight’s celebration will be broadcast to over 100 million homes in the USA and around the world through their global network. Helping to fulfill the GMA Mission “To Expose, Promote and Celebrate the Life Changing Message of Jesus Christ to the World Through Music, the Arts, and Media” We couldn’t do this event without our sponsors, partners, volunteers, die-hard production and administrative warriors and committed Board members. The 5th Annual GMA Honors and Hall of Fame Ceremony was held May 9th night at Lipscomb University in Nashville. CCM artist Carman, award-winning Southern Gospel artist Karen Peck Gooch, legendary Gospel family group The Staples Singers and acclaimed producer Greg Nelson were inducted into the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The event also honored individuals and organizations that are impacting our culture both past and present. This year’s honorees were Chonda Pierce for Branches Counseling Center, Bishop Marvin Sapp, Ryan Lampa for People Loving Nashville and Lipscomb University. Rick Founds was presented with the 2018 Milestone Song Award for “Lord I Lift Your Name on High.”

The Gospel Music Association’s annual IMMERSE Conference was held June 11-13 at Lipscomb University. IMMERSE has grown to become the premiere training experience for artists, songwriters and worship leaders. Our industry’s top creatives and business leaders come together for 3 days to invest in the next generation.
