GOWEEKLY 03 2017 HOROSCOPE

ARIES

March, 21 - April, 19 You might not be able to accomplish what you'd hoped. Some minor but irritating conflicts could occur within a group. You might find this exasperating. You could be called on to use your intuition and sensitivity to spread oil on troubled waters.

TAURUS

Famous Capricorn

Hainley Statia Born: January 19, 1986

CAPRICORN

GEMINI

May, 21 - June, 20 Unexpected responsibilities could interfere with plans to take a trip of some sort. Someone might need your help, and you may well have to put your own activities on hold for a while. This could be frustrating. It only delays whatever you're doing but doesn't stop it.

CANCER

September, 23 - October, 22 A trip through exclusive boutiques or antique shops might have you throwing financial caution to the wind and buying luxury items you hadn't planned for. This is all right - up to a point. Take care not to buy more than you can use.

"Follow your heart and go with the flow"

SCORPIO -

SCORPIO

October, 23 - November, 22 Unexpected visitors might throw you into a dither. You could panic over how to dress, what to say, and what to serve. Don't make yourself crazy. Follow your heart and go with the flow. Spontaneity is the best policy.

SAGITTARIUS

November, 23 - December, 21 Some rather disconcerting information may come to light. This could throw you into a daze, as it isn't anything that you expected. This isn't necessarily bad news. In fact, it might be great news, but it may be something you never expected in a million years.

December, 22 - January, 19 Even though everything is going well for you, a sudden upset of some kind, probably involving money, could throw you into a momentary panic. You may wonder if your good fortune is going to end as quickly as it began. This probably isn't the case. The situation is temporary.

June, 21 - July, 22 An unexpected development might interfere with your plans to attend a social event, group activity, or get-together with your partner. This isn't going to sit well with those you've been planning to meet. It's going to be frustrating for you, too, but it has to be done.

WELLNESS

July, 23 - August, 22 Arrangements for a get-together you're planning to host could go awry, with everything turned upside down and nothing happening the way you planned. This isn't going to halt your plans, but it's going to require more effort to get things back on track and make it happen.

January, 20 - February, 18 Upsets regarding your career or the activities that take up most of your time are likely to negatively affect your self-confidence. Don't fall into this trap. The forces are beyond your control and the situation doesn't reflect any shortcomings on your part. You might have to put in some effort to straighten things out and return to normal.

VIRGO

PISCES

The current planetary alignment makes you more open to truths that you may otherwise miss. Try to think honestly about what you do for yourself that increases your feeling of wellness, and what you do that inhibits your wellbeing. Your personal health regimen needs to be totally specific to your needs. Some herbal substances that are said to be beneficial and calming are: jasmine, lavender, lotus, and forget-me-not. Incorporate your favorite scent intoyour bathing ritual!

2

April, 20 - May, 20 A temporary upset with a partner might distract you so you can't function as effectively as you normally do. Don't let your anger get the best of you. The situation is probably due to a lack of communication, and could be cleared up with explanations, understanding, and an agreement as to how similar situations should be handled.

LIBRA

LEO

August, 23 - September, 22 Your usually abundant energy may experience a sudden setback. Work pressure could create stress that leaves you feeling exhausted and out of sorts. This will pass. You should be strong and healthy and so able to overcome it quickly.

AQUARIUS

February, 19 - March, 20 New scientific or archaeological discoveries could temporarily shake your faith in your spiritual path. You may suddenly doubt something you've always accepted. You're likely to find that your discoveries don't invalidate your ideas, but actually confirm them.

New man for Vivica A. Fox?

Vivica A. Fox is looking for a new man in 2017, insisting he must be fun and over 40.

The Hotline Bling hitmaker is rumored to be romancing Jennifer Lopez and he reportedly surprised her with a $100,000 Tiffany & Co. necklace as they prepared to celebrate the New Year together. Drake presented her with a Tiffany Victoria necklace, which features over 15 carats-worth of round, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds set in platinum. Jennifer appeared to show off the new jewelry in an Instagram photo from her New Year's Eve celebrations, where she teamed the diamonds with a sexy red dress and a fur cover-up. The stars have been romantically linked since early December ’16 when Drake attended 2 of Lopez's residency gigs in Sin City back-to-back and hosted an intimate party she attended.

4

The actress insists she's done with young men and now wants a 'gentleman' who can take care of himself. Meanwhile, Vivica is back on good terms with her ex 50 Cent, after implying he was secretly gay during a TV interview in 2015.

Selena Kissing The Weeknd

Just two months after splitting with his longtime girlfriend, Bella Hadid, the 'Starboy' singer was spotted sharing a steamy smooch with Selena Gomez outside the Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California. In pics obtained by ET, Selena can be seen wrapping her arms around her rumored beau.

GOWEEKLY 03 2017 COVER STORY

The handsome Roald Balentien is BACK in the Tumba arena! After 10 years, Roald is ready to once again turn Festival Center upside down with his new Tumba which is sure to be better than ever. One Media Group, his proud sponsor, is completely ready for it, are you? Read his interview here! Editor: Sendeliz Gibbes | Photography: Uriel Symor

Roald Balentien You’re back in the Tumba Festival after 10 years. Why did you decide to participate this year? At the end of December, I was taking a shower and thinking how good 2016 was to me. So many awesome shows and parties and we (Highway Band) also brought out our first single 'Magiko'. I felt grateful and blessed. I made one wish to the universe: I want to be healthy and I want to write more music in this New Year! Be more productive. On January 1st, I was at home and out of nowhere I started to get some melodies and ideas for Tumba in my head. Just like butterflies but in my head! I knew it was a sign/ gift and I told myself I can't ignore this. It's been 10 years since my last appearance at the 'Festival di Tumba' and it felt right, I can't explain. So I

8

said, 2017 is going to be the year that I’m going to make my comeback. Now, here we are, getting ready for this year's festival.

What do you think is the biggest difference between the Roald that will be participating this year, and the one that participated 10 years ago? There are so many differences. I'm more mature as a singer now compared to 2007 and I feel that it has helped me very much with the writing process. But the biggest difference would be that this time I'm going to sing my own song and I will be accompanied by a band (Dreams) that I'm not a member of. When someone writes for you, you have to sing the song just like it's written and that's it.

But when you write your own music, that's a 100% ‘YOU’ what comes out! You just feel more comfortable performing and I think you will do a much better job delivering the message of your song.

What’s the message you want to bring with your Tumba, and what has inspired you to create this Tumba? I'm making a comeback, so I wrote about things I have come to realize during 9 years of absence. There are some things I want to say to our 'dushi fiesta di Karnaval' and how I feel about it. Unfortunately I can't get more into details about the song because it's not allowed! But by end of this month you can check the lyrics on my Facebook Fan page.

COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 03 2017

What’s your most memorable Tumba Festival performance up until now? My most memorable Tumba performance up until now is definitely the last one back in 2007 with Gio Fuertisimo; 'Ta Chebu tin e webu' by Gilbert Doran. I joined Gio Fuertisimo right after the previous Karnaval season. I felt like the pressure was on me to deliver. All eyes were on me. Thank God all went well. We did a good job and 'Chebu' became a very popular Tumba. That year Tico Balentien won with 'Karnaval Methamorphosis/Barbulètè.' That tumba was just unbeatable. I was so glad to see how people reacted and still react to 'Chebu tin e webu.'

"2017 is going to be the year that I’m going to make my comeback"

What would you do if you win the Tumba Festival? I don't know. I think I'll cry and then just celebrate with everybody. Especially my fans who have been waiting for me to get back on that stage. My uncle, Wilson Frans won the festival back in 1988 and I still remember how I wished it was me putting on the crown. So, you can say it will be a dream come true!

What can we expect from Roald Balentien this year at Tumba Festival 2017? Can you give us a hint? Hahahaha, all I can say is that my fans and all the Tumba lovers will say: "We didn't wait 10 years for nothing". Hint? Come see me perform live!

LIFESTYLE GOWEEKLY 03 2017

Well-balanced meals and snacks are both important for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. But whether it's because you find yourself snacking (because you’re bored) or because your meals aren't keeping you as full as you'd like, sometimes you need something to keep you from rummaging through the pantry. Here are 6 appetite-suppressing foods that will keep you feeling full!

Feeling satisfied? Lemon

Oatmeal

Spicy food

Eating something sour can help curb sweet cravings, helping you feel satisfied after a meal. Lemon juice also contains pectin, a type of soluble fiber that can help slow digestion and aid in weight loss.

Stay fuller longer with a bowl of oatmeal; oatmeal can help increase your body's levels of the appetiteregulating hormone cholecystokinin, which may help control hunger in some people.

Studies have shown that spicy food can help keep you fuller longer as well as increase metabolism. A recent study, for example, found that people ate 60 fewer calories (and burned about 10 more) when cayenne pepper was added to their food.

Avocado

Eggs

Edamame

Avocados are full of healthy monounsaturated fats, which help keep you full. Add half an avocado to a slice of toast for a breakfast that'll keep you full until lunch.

Another protein-packed food is egg, which studies have shown can help you control your appetite.

Half a cup of edamame is only 95 calories but contains over eight grams of protein, making the baby soy beans a good snacking choice.
