GOWEEKLY 36 2016 HOROSCOPE
ARIES
March, 21 - April, 19 There may be a damper on your mood especially in the morning. It could seem as if everyone is having fun but you. Having a good time is more a state of mind than anything else. Try not to get trapped in a lousy mindset. Operate from a point of stability instead of jealousy.
TAURUS
Famous Virgo
Suzette Koko Born: September 14, 1975
VIRGO
August, 23 - September, 22 Your emotions could feel restricted, a feeling that may be difficult to shake. Take this opportunity to calm down and relax. You'll enjoy the good times more when you give your body the rest it needs. Always pushing for bigger and better adventures may be fun, but it can leave you too tired to fully appreciate them. Wellness You will enjoy the positions of the planets because you have the opportunity to accomplish things that will make you shine in days to come. You can be very industrious, especially when following a 'hunch' that good things are coming and you - of all people - will be the center of the limelight! However, this atmosphere is all about conserving your energy and applying it to exactly what needs to get done. This almost certainly means getting exercise!
2
April, 20 - May, 20 Your general mood is quite good, but there's a strong force asking you to be more realistic in your approach. The last thing you want is for someone else to throw a bucket of water on your raging fire of fun, but this is likely to happen unless you address the reality of the situation.
GEMINI
May, 21 - June, 20 Your mind may be a little cloudy and you could find it hard to ground yourself. The good news is that the skies should clear later, and you'll find there's nothing but smooth sailing for the rest of the night.
CANCER
June, 21 - July, 22 Stay modest despite the lavish praise that may be showered on you. By evening, you won't be able to get by on just talk alone. Actions will speak much louder than words and it's important that you have some sort of plan.
LEO
July, 23 - August, 22 The key is to stay loose and not be concerned with the situation's outcome. The future is uncertain. You shouldn't depend on something that may or may not plan out the way you want.
LIBRA
September, 23 - October, 22 It could be hard to find your footing early in the day. You may be better off sleeping in. Have a good breakfast and relax in the morning. By evening, you'll be refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on the town. Your emotions may feel restricted, which could make it difficult to fully express yourself.
SCORPIO
October, 23 - November, 22 Use the morning to take care of yourself. You could be so concerned with the world and the shared environment that you forget to take care of you. Use the early afternoon to reflect and meditate. Gather facts from your inner state and use the information to create a plan for the future. Be flexible in your approach.
"Operate from a point of stability instead of jealousy" ARIES -
SAGITTARIUS
November, 23 - December, 21 Get to some water and reconnect with this element. Like lapping waves against the shore, you may be gently changing the landscape around you with each word or action. Don't underestimate your inner strength.
CAPRICORN
December, 22 - January, 19 Emotionally speaking, you should be doing quite well. This is a good time to take charge of projects that require definite leadership. Act like you belong in a leadership role and you'll find that others will automatically support you in that position.
AQUARIUS
January, 20 - February, 18 You may get frustrated especially in the morning when other people's egos seem to be strong. It could be difficult to relate to people who simply refuse to accept any opinion but their own. Things should mellow out by afternoon. You'll find people start to see things from your perspective.
PISCES
February, 19 - March, 20 People may see you as the personification of drama. This is a good time to express your emotions and get things out of your system. Be sure to release whatever pent-up emotion you have inside.

Jamie Cullum gave an excellent concert, and Betty Wright was energetic and very soulful. The Cuban Affair brought the audience the old Havana vibe, Lenny Kravitz was mind-blowing, and J. Balvin... hands down the best. Juan Luis Guerra, never disappoints! He gave an awesome performance, no hips were left unmoved, and the audience sang every single note!

#Aubrih is real! Drake and Rihanna, world’s favorite couple, are now sporting matching tattoos. And not just any tattoos: camouflage shark tattoos. Rihanna first showed off her fresh ink last week on Instagram and then, Drake displayed what appears to be the exact same tattoo on his right forearm during the New Orleans show of his Summer Sixteen tour on Friday. So cute!

Pietermaai
Rif stadium
This district is already very famous for its colorful buildings, but look a little further and in between the alleys. You’ll find the most fascinating wall paintings!
Curaçao’s rif stadium is quite big and you’ll be surprised to see that its outer walls are full of paintings from famous local artists.
Otrobanda
Are you in the mood for a little hunting? Good, because to see the wall paintings in Otrobanda can be a bit of a search. But it’s definitely worth looking for.

It’s the little things like a random painting on a wall what makes Curaçao so special. Though the island is small, it is full of creative and talented people. Support your locals and be inspired!

GOWEEKLY 36 2016 COVER STORY
Aimed Ayubi (42) born on Curaçao, is a well-known and loved radio DJ and newscaster on Bonaire. When he was 16 years old he moved to Bonaire and started his career in radio. Now, 26 years later, Aimed owns his own radio station, Live 99.9 FM, the most popular, and listened to radio station on the island. Go Weekly visited Aimed on Bonaire, to know how he started his career, and how Live 99.9 FM became the most popular radio station on Bonaire within the span of a year. Meet Aimed Ayubi, The Voice of Bonaire. Editor: Sendeliz Gibbes | Photography: Roëlton Thodé Photography
Aimed Ayubi
The Voice of Bonaire Your career at the radio, how did it all start? "I moved to Bonaire when I was either 15 or 16 years old. I finished my high school (HAVO) education, after which my aunt who worked at a radio station on Bonaire, mentioned that I had a great voice. She told me that we should do a try out at the Bos di Boneiru radio station. They discovered that I was good at it. I didn't continue studying, but did follow special courses provided by the radio station. Colombian radio station Caracol Radio also came to Bonaire to give some courses, and I finished them with the highest marks. As a beginner, we weren't allowed to talk during the shows. I was known as DJ Muda. The only thing you were allowed to do after
10
you finished your courses was to read out the time. After about two months, I was allowed to read out the shout outs. And that's how it all started."
You are now proud owner of your own radio station. How did you do it? "Before I started working for my brother, I worked at Ritmo FM for 8 years. My brother decided to start his own radio station, so I decided to work for him. The radio station was a resounding success. I worked there for 8 years, until a difference of opinion on management styles resulted in us parting ways. My wife and I ended up being unemployed for 8 months, after which we decided to start our own station. I applied for the permit,
and went through the entire screening process to get the permit. I am extremely proud of my radio station permit. I think I might be the only radio station owner on Bonaire who had to pass the screening in The Netherlands, and my permit is signed by the Dutch Minister of Telecommunication. On September 1st, Live 99.9 FM went on air officially."
COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 36 2016
Live 99.9 FM is the most popular radio station on Bonaire. How does Live 99.9 FM distinguish itself from the other stations? "We are a dynamic radio station, with a vision, and I have more than 25 years of experience in this field. We like to innovate, and have the best DJs on Bonaire working for us, whom we taught everything. Our news hour is the best one on the island. We have our breaking news segment, with our reporters being the first ones on the scene, so that we can be the first to inform Bonaire of developments on the island. Besides that, we have a kids program, a game-show program, sports program, ranchera program, you name it, and we have it. We start at 6 AM and stop at midnight. This is how we interact with our listeners. Most radio stations stop at 6, or 7 PM. This distinguishes us, from them."
"We as a radio station have a duty to the people of Bonaire" What are your plans for Live 99.9 FM, what can we expect next? "We as a radio station have a duty to the people of Bonaire. Within our first year of operation, we gave away 2 new cars to the community. As the listeners, and advertisers keep on supporting our station, it is our duty to give back to the
community. We are committed, alongside our branding partners, to give away at least one vehicle per year to someone living on Bonaire, around the date of our anniversary. Besides that, we are organizing a pumpkin hunt on the 29th of October 2016. It has nothing to do with Halloween by the way. Each pump-
kin is tied to a sponsor, and if you find one, you’ll win the prize that that particular sponsor has made available. There’s even a $1000 cash prize, and if you win it, and you are a customer of the sponsor, it becomes a $2000 cash prize. Make sure you take part in this amazing pumpkin hunt!"

I started tattooing about 3 years ago. The first one that I did, I did it on myself. I thought, it would be better to first try it out on myself, before I start doing it on other people. It was a small piece on my ankle.
Most beautiful tattoo I’ve ever seen I think the most beautiful piece is the one on my back by Nito Ink.
Most memorable tattoo session My most memorable tattoo sessions are the ones I’ve designed with a special meaning. What’s even more special about my job is the reaction of the client when I finish the piece. Some even shed a tear of happiness.
