Famous Sagittarius
Charlysen Jansen Born: December 9, 1987
SAGITTARIUS
November, 23 - December, 21 This is the right moment to extricate yourself from relationships that have seen their day. This won't be easy, but you must. In your professional and private lives, you're too hesitant to get out of distasteful situations or obligations. You're afraid of hurting people or making them mad. But in the end, you're hurting yourself. Give more weight to your own needs and follow your own path.
WELLNESS Your fiery nature will be faced with making up for time misused or accidental oversights of a few days ago. Something is "not quite right" and you will have to look inward to find the cause of this disease. Are you eating well? Are you taking your rest as seriously as you should? Are you exercising to get rid of the stress of your workdays? Maybe all of the above has made you say things to other people you shouldn't have.
2
March, 21 - April, 19 The minor ailments that have been dragging you down lately are beginning to disappear, and you're about to regain all of your physical energy. However, if you overindulge, your energy levels are likely to plummet again.
TAURUS
April, 20 - May, 20 Do you feel a little under the weather? It's possible, considering all the emotional turmoil you've been through lately. It takes time to recover from those storms. As you know, the work itself isn't what gets you down but rather your worries about the future that drain your energy. Give yourself a break.
GEMINI
May, 21 - June, 20 There is some likelihood that the mood at home is fraught with tension. Did you dare to express some contrary intellectual opinion? In any case, it looks like your self-confidence is stronger than usual right now. Go ahead and express any complaints or opinions you may have been keeping to yourself.
CANCER
June, 21 - July, 22 It would seem that your sensitivity is in slight conflict with your actions. You continue to go through the motions and do what you planned to do, but it seems like your heart isn't in it anymore. Don't ask yourself why.
LEO
July, 23 - August, 22 You may have been spending or saving too much. It's clear that a rebalancing is in order if you're to find pleasure rather than eternal frustration. It's a curious phenomenon. It's as though you have lost contact with your body.
VIRGO
August, 23 - September, 22 You've been stamping the ground impatiently. You're waiting for the moment to jump into new adventures with renewed vigour after your meditation of the last few months. Know that the moment has almost arrived!
LIBRA
September, 23 - October, 22 If you find yourself tired and irritable you should know that this is normal. You may have had a few months that were a little too studious. Would you like to continue with the same rhythm? Be careful that your ambitions don't lead you to physical exhaustion.
SCORPIO
October, 23 - November, 22 This is going to be a good moment to look elsewhere. You should do just as the artist does when he has worked on a painting for too long, which is take a step back. You need to see some people, travel, go to the theatre, and clear your head.
CAPRICORN
December, 22 - January, 19 You took off like a bullet a few days ago, making great progress in a short amount of time. But now you're grappling with doubts that are undermining all your energy. Reflecting on the events of the past few days, it's obvious that you were somewhat reckless in your headlong pursuit of your goals.
AQUARIUS
January, 20 - February, 18 There is some likelihood that thoughts of your love life will haunt you. Perhaps you're intrigued by the idea of exploring certain realms of your relationship that remain secret, but you're unsure how to communicate this to your mate
PISCES
February, 19 - March, 20 You're thirsty for new sights and sounds, new faces and places. However, you're well aware that you must juggle your desires with your professional or domestic obligations.

Mariah Carey goes public with back-up dancer Mariah Carey has confirmed her romance with back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka, less than two months after her split from fiancé James Packer. On November 28, Mariah decided to set the record straight by confirming her new love in a photo-shoot on the beach in Hawaii. Scott & Kourtney, 'Mental illness On again! doesn't define me'
One insider tells that they've been back on for a few months, and while they're not living together, they've been spending lots of time together. Scott's mellowed out a lot and hasn't been partying. The news comes just a few weeks after the pair was spotted getting cozy while vacationing in Mexico with their family. Though some rumors began swirling surrounding their relationship, many thought it was just another attempt at co-parenting and staying friends.

Demi Lovato will never let her bipolar diagnosis define her as a person. The singer was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when she was 18 years old. She has also overcome an eating disorder and addiction in the past. To help raise awareness for the latest Be Vocal: Speak Up for Mental Health campaign, Demi has opened up about how she lives with the mental health condition. “By keeping me accountable for my mental health, making sure that I’m taking care of myself, making sure I am raising my voice for other people, it has had a positive impact on me. It represents something that I have, it doesn’t represent who I am.” Meanwhile Demi's bipolar diagnosis hasn't stopped her from being creative. The singer revealed she's currently working on new material.

GOWEEKLY 49 2016 COVER STORY
Ray Lauffer He is a man with a mission, and great ambitions: to reach as far as he can with his talent as an artist. In 2017, he’s taking it to the next level, making his presence known on the global radar. With his amazing voice, and multidimensional talent, we place all bets on Raynor ‘Ray’ Lauffer. He sat down with Go Weekly to talk about his latest hit ‘Nada Pa Niun Hende’, success, solo career and more! Editor: Sendeliz Gibbes
Photography: Casy Roosje
How did you jump-start your music career? Did you always want to be a singer/songwriter? To be honest, I never thought I would be singing/performing or writing songs. In the past, I was part of a youth choir and also the Dennis Aalse Big Band. But before it all started, I used to sing with my cousins in their room. We would plug a microphone into the radio, put on a No Game CD, and sing along. On a particular day, my cousin asked me if I wanted to go to the rehearsal of a new band, GMO. They were missing a band member, so they asked my cousin if I wouldn’t mind singing for them. They did a tryout with me, and they liked the way I sang. After carnival, they told me, “You’re officially a member of the band.” That’s how it all started, and now I’m part of the band Gentz Tre ‘Chic.
You wrote your latest hit ‘Nada Pa Niun Hende’ with Randy Leroy. Where do you look for inspiration when writing a song? Well, I wrote this song together with Randy Leroy. It’s the first one I have written as a member of Gentz. I’ve helped out with composing, and arranging in the past. People asked me before why I didn’t actually write songs, but I guess I never really thought about it. Now that I’ve written this one, it has created a path for more to come. When it comes to this song, we were under pressure to release a single before the October tour started and it had been a while since we released anything new. First, Randy wrote a small demo with the lyrics ‘Nada Pa Niun Hende’, and I liked that particular phrase in the demo. I thought it was a really catchy one and the rest is history.

COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 49 2016
Actually, I have a connection to every song I sing. I try to make sure that the message and energy I transmit, touches the audience. For example, ‘Warda Riba Nunka’ is a song that I like to interpret, because when it reaches its climax, the entire audience would shout and sing along "Ay min por min por". That’s an awesome feeling for me as an artist. I don’t just want the audience to dance to the song, I want them to sing along too. That’s what I try to achieve with every song I sing, that the audience “feels” it.
What is your most memorable performance up until now? My audition for Holland’s Got Talent. That was a true ‘pinch me’ moment. It was one of the highlights of my career.
What can we expect next from Ray Lauffer and what would be your ultimate goal as an artist? I’m taking it to the next level in 2017. I’m busy with different projects. Besides Gentz Tre’Chic (I will remain part of the group), I’m working on my solo career, but outside of Ritmo Kombina. I'm currently working on my own concept which will be ready to go for 2017. My ultimate goal would be to make it internationally as an artist, to perform in front of a bigger audience. The Caribbean has produced a lot of big artists and Curaçao has a lot of talent and potential, but sometimes we (the artists) lack the support of our own people. But if we really want to achieve something we have to start believing in ourselves, in our capacity and talents. Get out of our comfort zone, take the risk and just jump, and we will eventually get there.
