hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

God says in His word that He will never leave you. Even when you feel abandoned or cast aside, He’s there. Recently I was talking with my daughter about this very topic. She wondered how she would know that He is with her. I shared with her what the Word of God says. I also shared a life story. How there was a time when the enemy wanted me to feel alone. When we first moved to Arizona, I felt alone even though I wasn’t. It appeared like everything I touched was falling apart. Even after prayer I felt like He didn’t hear anything I was saying. I remembered crying asking why did He leave me, and he reminded me of the scripture above. After that I felt a warm embrace or a comfort and at that moment, I realized that I wasn’t alone.

Life seems to make you feel like you are alone in what you are going through. But know that you are not alone. Whatever tragedy has struck your life know that it has struck someone else’s life as well. The enemy wants you to feel isolated and lonely. Once he isolates you, he has you exactly where he wants you. Away from others with lost hope and believing that you have nowhere to turn to. In Palms 23:4, the scriptures say, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” It’s nothing like feeling His comforting spirit when you feel alone. Know that whatever place you find yourself in life, know that YOU are not alone. Jesus loves you and He wants you to know that He’s with you.
