Songs BLESSED ASSURANCE
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels, descending, bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
Refrain: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long; This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long.
Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest, Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
IN THE SWEET BY AND BY
There’s a land that is fairer than day And by faith we can see it afar For the father waits over the way To prepare us a dwelling place there
We shall sing on that beautiful shore The melodious songs of the Blest And our spirit shall sorrow no more Not a sign for the blessing of rest
In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore
In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore In the sweet by and by In the sweet by and by, oh
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)
Eulogy In most families, Grandparents are people who visit during the holiday, send cards in the mail for your birthday, and live in home surrounded by pictures. In my family, my grandparents are a part of our everyday life. My grandmother Gloria Chin, (Ms. Pam, Jiffy, or Mama) was a part of all my milestones. She was born June 30th 1935 in Manchester, Jamaica, to Pearl WhyteLee and Albert Chin. She moved to Kingston as a young woman and despite being a shy individual secured a job as a waitress. She was blessed with 5 children - Joyce, Tom, Georgia, Dionne, and Madge, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was a kind hearted woman, who was hardworking, honest, and very helpful. You could always hear her singing or humming a hymn. On January 9, 1993 she was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at Banner of Love Apostolic Church in Fort Lauderdale and was filled with the Holy Ghost the same day. Throughout her life she used anecdotes to explain situations and always made us laugh because of her accent and her pronunciation of words: whenever we were down we could always depend on her to make us laugh. Her
favorite book is the book of Psalms, and my mother told me as a child she and Aunty Dionne had to recite several chapters each night before bed. Her favorite chapters in the Psalms were 6, 23, 27 and 91. Beginning in 1992, she traveled each year to Miami to visit and spend time with her family and eventually migrated to Miami in March 2007 to live with her daughter Madge. On May 4 2008, she accepted the right hand of fellowship at Pentecostal Tabernacle Miami and on July 18th, 2014 she became a United States Citizen. She did not accomplish material gains such as wealth or education, but she was rich and studious in the Lord she knew him and learned how to depend on him daily for guidance, health, and strength. She was a fighter. In spite of all she went through with her illness she was always strong and never wavered. Mama loved to cook and it gave her great pleasure to see others eat her food. I can attest to her great cooking skills. My siblings and cousins were asked what they remembered most about grandma and these are some of the words: loving, kind, a great cook, good singer, hard-working, shy, and funny. She is loved, and will be missed! As the saying goes “God always takes the best. So, rest in peace Mama, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Friend. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and sons-in-law Trevor Campbell and Ferdinand Titre.

Goodbye Mom Joyce Campbell
I
migrated to Canada as a child therefore I did not grow up with my mother. However, I had the chance to get to know her and I am truly grateful to the Lord for giving me the opportunity to do so. Although she was in discomfort, she never wanted to be a burden to those around her but instead was thankful for every moment she had left to spend with her loved ones. I apologize that I am not there at her home-going service due to situations beyond my control. I know she was a very understanding person in life. Mom is in God’s arms with the angels surrounding her. Sleep well my mother and be at peace.
Dear Mama By Mya Titre
It feels like a long while Since I last talked with you like this… How are you? How was your day? Never would’ve thought I’d talk to you through a letter Life is fleeting, yet salty… Like the seaside breeze Life is drippy, yet frozen… Like ice Life is many things And life is nothing Dear Mama Do you remember what they called us? “Sensitive People” “We are June People”
But…We’re both people Yet - I can’t stop myself From thinking of you in the same way You were a person that I knew Yet didn’t It drove me mad at times To get through to you It made me sad… To know that it was true Dear Mama I have nothing left to say… To a woman who helped raise me It’s funny… It feels weird to say ‘Mama’ …when you’re not here

When I think of the ways you have helped me And all I could do was watch from afar As you walk, with a wobble And cook, with a smile I think to myself That I’m lucky enough To have a woman A lady, that cares so much for me I called her ‘mama’ Because she was like a second mother Who sat down and waited to help us In any way she can
She was my grandma But she treated me like her daughter Giving me encouragements And to always pray My Mama, Though you are gone I always remember you Because I am your granddaughter And I will always love you

Thank You‌
It is through the support of friends and family that we are able to get through this difficult time. Words are inadequate to express our appreciation for your many thoughtful acts and expressions of sympathy. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Psalms 27:13-14)
