I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psalms 16:8-11)

Message Suffragan Bishop Willie Coley, Pastor Recessional You Did More Than I Ever Expected/When We All Get to Heaven
Songs Of Praise And Hope WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus Sing his mercy and his grace In the mansions bright and blessed He’ll prepare for us a place
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We’ll sing and shout the victory
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We’ll sing and shout the victory
Onward to the prize before us Soon his beauty we’ll behold Soon the pearly gates will open We shall tread the streets of gold
While we walk the pilgrim pathway Clouds will overspread the sky But when travlin’ days are over Not a shadow, not a sigh
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We’ll sing and shout the victory
PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOR Pass me not, O gentle Savior Hear my humble cry While on others Thou art calling Do not pass me by
Trusting only in Thy merit Would I seek Thy face Heal my wounded, broken spirit Save me by Thy grace
Savior, Savior Hear my humble cry While on others Thou art calling Do not pass me by
Savior, Savior Hear my humble cry While on others Thou art calling Do not pass me by
Let me at Thy throne of mercy Find a sweet relief Kneeling there in deep contrition Help my unbelief
Thou the spring of all my comfort More than life to me Whom have I on earth beside Thee? Whom in Heav’n but Thee?
Savior, Savior Hear my humble cry While on others Thou art calling Do not pass me by
Savior, Savior Hear my humble cry While on others Thou art calling Do not pass me by While on others Thou art calling Do not pass me by

When peace like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say It is well, it is well, with my soul
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought! My sin, not in part but the whole, Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord oh my soul
Chorus: It is well (it is well) With my soul (with my soul) It is well, it is well with my soul
Chorus: And Lord haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back like a scroll; The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, Even so, it is well with my soul
SOMEDAY, SOMEDAY I’LL GO WHERE JESUS IS Someday, Someday I’ll go where Jesus is Someday, Someday I’ll go where Jesus is Someday, Someday I’ll go where Jesus is I’ll be caught up to meet him in the air
I’ll be caught to meet him I’ll be caught to greet him Joy and happiness, peace is mine I’ll tell the story, of his glory I’ll be caught to meet him in the air
WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED UP YONDER When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time will be no more And the morning breaks eternal bright and fair When the saved on earth shall gather over on the other shore And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there Chorus: When the roll is called up yonder When the roll is called up yonder When the roll is called up yonder
When the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise And the glory of his resurrection share When the chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there Chorus
I’LL FLY AWAY Some bright morning when this life is over, I’ll fly away To that home on God’s celestial shore, I’ll fly away Chorus I’ll fly away oh glory I‘ll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah by and by I’ll fly away
When the shadows of this life are gone, I’ll fly away Like a bird from prison bars have flown, I’ll fly away Chorus Just a few more weary days and then, I’ll fly away To a land where joy will never end, I’ll fly away Chorus
Eulogy Shirley Veronica Sinclair was born on May 1, 1946 in Jamaica, West Indies. She attended All Saints School in Kingston, Jamaica. Later in life, Sister Shirley obtained her General Education Diploma and a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate in Miami, Florida. Sister Shirley accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age at Faith Temple Pentecostal Church (PAW) in Jamaica under the leadership of the late Bishop E.F. Robotham. She was baptized in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Sister Shirley migrated to the United States of America and an inseparable bond was formed with the Hart and Kaminer family. Sis. Shirley loved them as much as they loved her.
Sis. Shirley worked tirelessly and helped to bring her mom, Dorothy, to the USA and her siblings followed shortly thereafter.
Sister Shirley lived in Miami and was a dedicated member of Bethel Apostolic Temple under the leadership of the late Dr. Doris Akins. After the death of Dr. Akins, Sister Shirley became a member of the Tree of Life Ministries and Christian Center under the leadership of the late Elder Anthony McDaniels and the current pastor, Suffragan Bishop Willie Coley. She was a faithful member of the Tree of Life Ministries and Christian Center and served as a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. She often visited the sick and shut-in and sat with them to give comfort and encouragement.
She would check up on her family and friends on the phone to see how they were doing. Sister Shirley was an immaculate keeper of her home and every item had to be in its place. She also cleaned her church to make sure God’s house was ready for worship. Sister Shirley fought a good fight, she finished her course, and she kept the faith. On the morning of Saturday, February 23, 2019, while Sis. Shirley was studying her Sunday School lesson, she went home to be with the Lord. The topic was: “Our Loving High Priest,” and the text of the lesson: Hebrews 4:14 to Hebrews 5:9. The golden text: “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities…” Hebrews 4:15. On that morning, while feasting on The Word, she went to meet her High Priest. Sister Shirley was preceded in death by her mothers and fathers; three aunts, Amy, Gloria and Hazel; two brothers, Samuel and Charles; her niece, Julia; and her nephew, David. Sister Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, her Godson, Dr. Demetrius Coley; her daughter sister, Sharon; her sisters, Fay, Lorna, Valerie, Susan, Cindy, Mary, Heidi and Tracy; her brothers Arthur, Curtis, Tommy, Jimmy and Michael; her aunt Daphne and uncle George Nam, brothersin-law; special friends for over 60 years, Cynthia O’Connor and Gloria Francis; cousins and a special cousin, Julie; a host of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
The Broken Cord
We did not know that morning God was to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

Reflections Jesus hears the whispers of the heart, He is acquainted with loneliness and sorrow, His love unites what is broken apart, His grace always gives us tomorrow. Deacon and Sis. Roman
When I think of Sister Shirley, I can truly say she was a precious gem in the earth. I’ve had the opportunity to spend time in her home and she was an excellent hostess who made sure her hospitality was felt before you left her home. Her smiles were contagious, and she always kept a meek and quiet spirit. Even in times of illness she would encourage others with the word of God. The memories I have of her are priceless and I’m thankful I had an opportunity to have known her. May her soul rest in peace. Sis. Marjorie Lindo
Shirley always had a smile on her face. It was a beautiful smile with those sparkling, bright eyes and it seemed as if the smile was always just for me. I liked to make her laugh for two reasons: first, because she was always so good to me that I wanted to do something nice back for her; and second, because she had such a sincere and sweet sounding laugh. As I travel through the rest of my life, I will do so never forgetting her and the small but sincere ways she touched my life and made it better. Michael Kaminer
Our Big Sister Shirley was the nicest thing that ever happened to our family. She was a part of our childhood that we will always cherish. As we grew, Sister Shirley was always with us at our life events, as we welcomed new siblings, moved to new homes and towns, were married, and shared in our times of grief. Her gratitude and love for the Lord will remain right beside her joyful laugh and genuine love for us in all of our hearts. Forever Our Loving Big Sis: The Hart Children, Tommy, Cindy, Mary, Heidi, and Jimmy. Cindy Hart To those who see with loving eyes, life is beautiful. To those who speak with tender voices, life is peaceful. To those who help with gentle hands, life is full. And to those who care with compassionate hearts, life is good beyond all measure. Sis. Shirley was a woman full of the spirit of God, and a cousin full of joy and love for her family. Carlene Fantuzzi, Teresa Reynolds and Julie Reynolds
Shirls was my dear friend of 60 years. We met in youth fellowship at Faith Temple 60 years ago and continued our friendship until her passing. It broke my heart to see her go but she did not go alone because a part of us all went with her. The Lord saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb and so he closed her weary eyes and said, Peace be thine. With love, Queenie (Cynthia Barnes-O’Connor)
I have known Shirley for many years from our days on Oakland Road and when we attended Faith Temple Church in Jamaica. Shirley, Queenie and I lived together when we came to the United States and the three of us even share the same birth month. I remember when Sis. Shirley helped to take care of my son when he was younger and has shown that she was a friend in need and a friend indeed. We talked every day. The last thing she told me Friday night was that she wanted to visit me more often and would do so after she rectified her car situation. She lived a selfless life and was kind to everyone she met. I remember when I got sick, Sis. Shirley would do my laundry and sat with me to encourage me. She was also kind to my family and I am going to miss her. May she rest in peace. Gloria Francis
Sis. Shirley was always with a smile, very pleasant, caring and friendly. Never angry or fussy. She always brightened your day by a visit or a phone call. Sis. Shirley will be greatly missed. Elder Cecil Harrow
Sis. Shirley was a faithful, humble, and dedicated servant of God and she will always remain in our hearts. Pastor and Evangelist Coley ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take him at his word, just to rest upon his promise, just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.” Thank you Lord for the past 19 years and 5 months in which you allowed Goddie to demonstrate and employ spiritual guidance, unconditional love, and support towards me. Sleep in peace Goddie Sinclair, until the sound of the trumpet. Rev. Dr. A. D. Coley Selah
My dear beloved sister. You are already missed. We can feel the emptiness without your presence. You were such a blessing to Tree of Life. You are gone but will never be forgotten by the Tree of Life family. Dr. Mary McCoy
Her body died but her soul lives on with Jesus for ever…
Sister Shirley, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, had the attributes of a mother. She was caring, compassionate, kind, and understanding. She was like a sister, an aunt, or whatever you wanted her to be to you; she was that and more to anyone who knew her. Sister Shirley gave of her time never looking for recognition. She was honest and displayed the character of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She did her best in whatever task was appointed for her to complete. She was sincere - a genuine lady. She was a friend that would never let you down. On many of my visits to Miami, I stayed with Sister Shirley. On many occasions I would be later than the time expected to reach her home and Sister Shirley would never go to bed until I arrived; she was always concerned about my safety and would call to make sure I was safe and ok. I can recall two separate times I stayed with Sister Shirley while I attended a 3-day class in Miami and a 4-day convention north of Miami and on each occasion, she would be up early to make sure that I was on time and that I ate before I left. In November 2018, Sister Shirley stayed at my home for Thanksgiving. We talked, laughed and shared stories of different events. I made sure she was comfortable. Sister Shirley would call me on various occasions, just to check on me. She would say, “I’m just checking on you.” I will forever miss Sister Shirley. She was an amazing woman: strong, courageous, never afraid to challenge difficult issues. I was blessed she was a part of my life. Pamela Mapp
Let me tell you what I know about Sis. Sinclair: a real woman of God. She stood somewhere near 5 ft. tall and always walked briskly, stately, and with poise. She had the kindest face even when she was meeting a stranger. She was a strong woman in the Lord. She was sometimes firm, but it was because she really cared. No one worked harder than her and she was faithful. She gave of herself in all she did and never seemed to tire and this really inspired me and others too. She had much wisdom. If she gave advice, you could be sure it was good and would sometime cause me to stop and think why I did not see it that way before. No matter what the problem, she would say, “just look to the Lord and live.” She was a diligent worker and easy to work with. We worked well together. But oh, my goodness, she could work like a bee. Her concern was always for others. One of the things I found extraordinary about Sis. Sinclair is she always looked for good in others. Shirley Sinclair - a true saint, true woman of God, true sister in the Lord, and a true friend. I already miss her. Evangelist Laura Culbreath

Don’t Grieve For Me Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God laid for me, I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy, A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow; I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savoured much; Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free.
