Hymns of Praise When We All Get to Heaven
No Tears In Heaven
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus Sing his mercy and his grace In the mansions bright and blessed He’ll prepare for us a place
No tears in heaven, no sorrows given All will be glory in that land There’ll be no sadness, all will be gladness When we shall join that happy band
Chorus When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We’ll sing and shout the victory
Chorus No tears (in heaven fair) No tears, no tears up there Sorrow and pain will all have flown No tears (in heaven fair) No tears, no tears up there No tears in heaven will be known
While we walk the pilgrim pathway Clouds will overspread the sky But when travlin’ days are over Not a shadow, not a sigh When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We’ll sing and shout the victory Onward to the prize before us Soon his beauty we’ll behold Soon the pearly gates will open We shall tread the streets of gold
Glory is waiting, waiting up yonder Where we shall spend an endless day There with our Savior, we’ll be forever Where no more sorrow can dismay Some morning yonder, we’ll cease to ponder O’er things this life has brought to view All will be clearer, loved ones be dearer In heav’n where all will be made new
When we all get to heaven What a day of rejoicing that will be When we all see Jesus We’ll sing and shout the victory
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah! Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord He is trampling out the vintage Where the grapes of wrath are stored He hath loosed the fateful lighting of His Terrible swift sword, His truth is marching on I have seen him in the watch-fires Of a hundred circling camps They have builded him an altar In the evening dews and damps I have read his righteous sentence By the dim and flaring lamps His day is marching on
Glory, glory, hallelujah Glory, glory, hallelujah Glory, glory, hallelujah His truth is marching on I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnish’d rows of steel As ye deal with my contemptors So with you my grace shall deal Let the hero, born of woman Crush the serpent with his heel, Since my God is marching on He has sounded forth the trumpet That shall never call retreat He is sifting out the hearts of men Before His judgment-seat
Oh, be swift, my soul To answer him be jubilant, my feet Our God is marching on Glory, glory, hallelujah Glory, glory, hallelujah Glory, glory, hallelujah His truth is marching on, His truth is marching on
I Remember Mama You taught us how to love and share, your compassion extended far beyond the boundaries of your immediate family. The life lessons learnt from you will be with us forever. We love you lots. Hopeton, Andre, Aleksei, Winsome, Sean, Gabriela, Isabela & Sidney
I miss my mom most dearly, and wish she was still with us. She has always gone beyond the call of her duty – way beyond…despite the circumstances, to ascertain our happiness and welfare. With God’s grace and mercy she has been a dear mother to us. May her precious soul rest in peace. Daniel Joshua Gilmore
My grandma who I often teased and called Girly Mac, was the kindest and most loving person. My dad’s disposition often reminds me of her. Grandma was the shield for Dan, Alecia and I and a hiding place many times when mom would chase us around the house for a fine whooping! She covered for us when we did things that would irritate Mom. For example, when I broke all the tea cup handles and glasses. She would tell mom it was her accident. When I flooded the bathroom and the carpets got wet, she would take all the blame. She always encouraged me in school to do my best and always be on top of my class. Her arms were never too small for my siblings and I, she always had space on her lap for each of us. Whenever she came she always took goodies in her bag, no matter how small it was. She never treated her grandkids unfairly. She loved all of us the same and never ever expressed favoritism. We love you dearly grandma. We will always have a special place in our hearts for you forever. Abigail, Dan & Alecia
I Remember Mama
It is not easy to pen this tribute to a loving, caring and God fearing mother. It is a unique opportunity for me to honor her. She showed so much love to her husband, children, family, and friends. In fact, she was so loved by the young people of the community that many called her Mama, Mama Girly, or Aunt Girly. Her passion for Scripture (especially the book of Psalms) and hymns was fascinating and inspiring. She would say verses we never heard. Many times we would tell her that something she said was not in the Bible, but she would give a big smile and then tell us which chapter and verse. On July 26, 2016, just 18 hours before she died, I said to her “Mama I love you” and she whispered “I LOVE YOU TOO”. That was the final conversation we had. I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life. “Since Mother went away, it seems she’s nearer than before I cannot touch her hand and yet she’s with me more and more The years can never lessen the longing in my heart Though I’ve come to realize that we must dwell apart And just as long as memories live, my Mother cannot die For in my heart she’s living still, As passing years go by” By Ellen Steiner Rice I know you are resting in peace Mom - I Love You. Maurice
“Death closes one door and opens another, into a brighter and more beautiful dawn; She is not dead… She’s only gone on.” By Ellen Steiner Rice You had so little; but you gave so much; I love you…I miss you; May your soul rest in peace. Rona
I Remember Mama Sylvia from the Latin means lover of rural life and natural beauty. Mama had what is referred to as a green thumb. Every seed she held in her hands blossomed into a fruitful tree and the community enjoyed the product of that plant. She loved to share. Mama you will not be forgotten, but you are surely missed. Sylvia (Miss Gee) and Dermot
Something I will always remember about grandma is her beautiful singing. Every time she was taking care of me I would always hear her singing and she really inspired me, especially with music. Now I am going to an entertainment school to study music and I am really thankful that she inspired me to keep loving music. Love and miss you grandma. Bethanie
One thing I remember the most about grandma is that she always liked to share whatever she was eating. She also had one of the brightest smiles. Love you and miss you grandma. Joseph
Mama will be remembered in so many positive ways. She was the one who stood by us and supported us as needed. I remember Mom as a peaceful, kind, loving, caring, and hard working woman who did whatever it took to ensure her family and friends were well taken care of. But most of all I remember her strength and her beautiful smile. Thank you for who you are; it helped us to be the people we are today. The precious memories and bond we shared will never depart from us. Love you always Raymond, Manore, Giselle & Jamari
Aunt Girly - Our Angel Aunt Girly/Mama – represented the perfect balance of mother, grandaunt, sister and friend to me. She was the most dependable person I know. I always felt I could count on her for everything. Aunt Girly made me feel like a daughter, available to help me with raising my own kids and being a tower of strength when I needed a shoulder to lean on. She was my counselor, friend, and protector – an earthly angel. Mama will be missed, but I take comfort in the fact that her earthly protection has now been transformed to a heavenly protection, and I continue to be grateful. Patricia (Niece) Aunt Girly, my fondest memories of Aunt Girly goes back to my summer, Christmas and Easter holidays as a child. Summer holidays would not be the same if it was not spent at Aunt Girly. She welcomed us with open arms, we looked forward to treats from her, and sat at her feet at the end of the day to listen to her sing her praises to God. Leaving at the end of summer meant taking so much food into Kingston that we could feed the community. She gave more than she had, gave us more hugs than we needed, and comforted us more than we thought was ever possible. Aunt Girly, our lives will never be the same without you, our earthly matriarch has gone on to a better place. Suzette (Grand-Niece) I remember Aunt Girly as a grandaunt who was always providing for us. Summer holidays meant going to the fields to stay with her as she reaped crops. Aunt Girly would make me my own “catta” which she placed on my head. I was given my own loads to take from the field. In an effort to help Aunt Girly, I would run as fast as I could home, to drop off that load, to get back to her because she would have more loads than anyone else. I would end up making several trips to relieve her of her load. I also remember Aunt Girly going into town and taking back treats for us. I always looked forward to her return as it would be something delightful – Coco Bread with Patties, KFC – always enough to share for everyone. Aunty Girly mean the world to me and will be greatly missed. Orville (Grand-nephew)

In that Great Triumphant Morning
In the great triumphant morning, When we hear the Bridegroom cry, And the dead in Christ shall rise, We’ll be changed to life immortal, In the twinkling of an eye, And meet Jesus in the skies.
In the great triumphant morning, When the harvest is complete, And the dead in Christ shall rise, We’ll be crowned with life immortal, Christ and all the loved ones meet, In the rapture in the skies.
Refrain We shall all rise to meet Him, We shall all rise to greet Him, In the morning when the dead in Christ shall rise We shall all rise to meet Him, We shall all rise to greet Him, And shall have the marriage supper in the skies.
In the great triumphant morning, All the kingdom we’ll possess, Then the dead in Christ shall rise, Reign as kings and priests eternal, Under Christ forever blest, After meeting in the skies.
In the great triumphant morning, What a happy time ’twill be, When the dead in Christ shall rise, When the Lord descends in glory, Sets His waiting children free, And we meet Him in the skies.
Refrain We shall all rise to meet Him, We shall all rise to greet Him, In the morning when the dead in Christ shall rise We shall all rise to meet Him, We shall all rise to greet Him, And shall have the marriage supper in the skies.
Choruses: We shall have a new name No grave can hold my body down I want to go heaven and rest They call Him Jesus my Lord Jesus wrote my name way up
