SCHLOSS BRUCK – museum of the City of Lienz The residence castle of the counts of Görz has been enthroned above Lienz since the 13th century. From here they reigned their countries from the Adriatic to the Alps. Their former place of residence is now the Museum of the City of Lienz with the collection of masterpieces by Albin Egger-Lienz – the pioneer of Austrian modernism. The chapel with the unique and originally preserved late gothic frescoes and the knight’s hall with romanesque beam ceiling, bloom in new splendor and invite you to immerse yourself in the Middle Ages.
