From 2014 you can take the Osttiroler schnapps route and get to know, from the experts, how fruit is turned into a finely distilled drink. As part of the tours, you will find out how the particular clarity, fruitiness and purity of the local spirit comes about. You can then enjoy the high quality of the art for yourself by tasting it for a small fee to cover expenses. The „Pregler“ is the protected name for the Osttirol fruit spirit, which is distilled from local apples and pears. It is the epitome of rural, traditionally produced schnapps and an old Osttirol specialty. He is the „Lord of schnapps“.
