PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE “Deck the halls…..Tis the Season to be jolly!”
PRESIDENT Jackie Blackburn
Our Woman’s Club will be decorated and full of holiday spirit for our December 6th general meeting. Janette Skrasek and her committee have been
hard at work planning our silent and live auctions. We are grateful to have Councilman Jeff Copeland as our ever popular auctioneer this year, which may offer the best live auction items we have ever had. Vivian Vance and committee have a wonderful holiday lunch planned and Brenda Skinner has arranged a choir for our enjoyment during the silent auction. We have all the makings of a beautiful and enjoyable Christmas celebration. Guests are welcome, but reservations are necessary. Please call the club and make yours today. Remember the silent auction begins at 9:00 am. A special thank you to hardworking Karen Bond and her committee for the fun Texas Hold’em event, it was a spirited and fun game night. Make sure to stop by and shop her Mrs. Claus’ Workshop at the Christmas meeting. You won’t be disappointed, lots of goodies to buy. As the holidays approach we are ready for celebration, good friends and the Blessings of the season. I would like to take this time to thank all of our members, you bless our club everyday with hard work and fellowship. May God gift you a happy, healthy Christmas Season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope to see you all on December 6th.
