PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE How fast this club year is moving! It is half over, but look how fun and successful it has been! I hope you were able to attend our December Christmas luncheon and auctions. It was a party! A PRESIDENT full house, Christmas decorations, The SGPHS Show Jackie Blackburn Choir, a wonderful lunch and a lively hugely successful auction. So many ladies made that day happen. A big thank you to Janette Skrasek, co-chair Barbara Stancill and their committee. We raised over $18,000 in our auctions, how fantastic is that? Their hard work for months and attention to every detail made it our most successful auction ever. Vivian Vance and her committee gave us another delicious lunch, Karen Bond’s Mrs. Claus booth was a big hit. A big thank you to Councilman Jeff Copeland for giving of his time and entertaining talents to boost our auction totals. Always thankful for our club members for their auction donations and purchases, we could not have succeeded without these ladies. As we ring in the New Year, I am thankful for our Blessings and friendships and looking forward to seeing everyone at the March General Meeting. The Executive Board will host GPISD Deputy Superintendent, Pat Lewis on January 23, 2020 at 10:00am. Ms. Lewis would like to speak and address the new protocol for KIDS INC. Woman’s Club members interested are invited to attend. Please call the club and make reservations if attending. Happy New Year, Happy 2020….

Jackie

KIDS I.N.C.

The need to clothe children in GPISD is still ongoing. Since cooler weather is here, we are always in need of new coats or jackets to keep the students warm. If you would like to make a donation, our address has changed. The current address is 2341 S. Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052. We would like to thank the following for their donation:

BARBARA LEVITZ

BARBARA STANCILL
