PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE The long hot summer is at an end and cooler weather has arrived! It ‘s time to change to winter clothing and enjoy spending time at the Woman’s Club.
PRESIDENT JUDI STITH
The October General Meeting was very well attended. We had extra guests because of our guest speaker, Ruth Lloyd (child of Holocaust Survivors). Ruth spoke of what both her
parents had endured when incarcerated in Nazi labor camps. It was very moving and informative. Thank you Reni Cook, Program Chairman for providing an entertaining speaker. Thanks also to Chris Kracmer for the tasty menu. Thank you to Debbie Beaudin for the flowers and the decorations, and their committees who make it all happen! The Club looked beautiful, it was nice to be able to show it off to outside guests. Thanks to Paulette Reid and her building committee! How can it be that it is only five weeks until the December General Meeting and the Christmas Auction?!! So much to do---so little time! The Auction committee with Barbara Stancill as Chairman has been hard at work planning for this event!! Now is the time to bring all of your donations to the club!! We still need new or gently used items, gift cards, and any donations collected from local businesses. You may bring these items to the Club Monday thru Friday 9 AM till 3 PM. We will have the Bake Sale again this year, I’m looking forward to all of your wonderful baked goods! Yum! Wishing you all a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!!!

KIDS I.N.C.
As of this writing, we have clothed 90 students.
BARBARA LEVITZ
BARBARA STANCILL
We worked on the October 8th holiday to go through some more clothes that we felt needed to be donated to a local charity. Thank you to those who could help. They were Barbara Levitz, Martha Ray, Judi Stith, Sandy Trent, Debbie Blubaugh, Jeanette Olesen and I. We have a great crew and they are always there when we need them.
We are still in negotiation with the school district about the moving of all our things. It may not be until after the first of the year before this happens. We will continue to clothe students at our College Street location. Donations are still welcome and appreciated. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. Barbara Stancill
