PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE PRESIDENT Jackie Blackburn
Thank you to everyone that was able to join us for the Fall Brunch, it was an excellent event and could not have been possible without the magic and hard work of Karen Bond and her committee of helpers. Thank you Karen for all that you do for this club, we appreciate you! With the holiday season fast approaching, be sure to check the calendar for upcoming dates and
changes. To highlight a few upcoming events for November, don’t miss the Texas Hold’em event on Saturday, November 9th; it’s going to be a great time! See page 6 for more details. November 15, the Community Outreach department will host a wine tasting event; be sure to purchase your ticket from Judy Love as soon as possible. This will be an intimate event, only 30 tickets will be sold and it’s sure to be a nice evening. Please see the flyer on page 5 for additional information. The Christmas auction is fast approaching and Janette and her committee have been working on collecting silent auction items. If you would like to donate an item(s), please let Janette know and have the item to the Woman’s Club building no later than November 22 to be included. This event takes a lot of help and time preparing for the silent and live auction. We are thrilled to welcome Councilman Jeff Copeland back to the club to be our auction extraordinaire, don’t miss this event! Please make your reservations by calling the club 972-264-2320. I wish everyone a safe, happy and bountiful Thanksgiving. May God Bless you all.
Jackie

KIDS I.N.C.
Cooler weather is here and I know we are all glad of that. The GPISD continues to clothe children who are in need of proper clothing to wear. We are grateful for all donations, whether small or large, to help fund this endeavor. Without these donations, this program would not be possible.
