PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
I am excited to welcome everyone back to the start of our new Club year. It has been a busy summer of planning and renovations. With a big thank you to the Advisory Board, we have replaced two dishwashers in the kitchen, renovated the utility room with an added

dishwasher and new washer/dryer. Building Chair, Paulette Reid and her amazing committee have worked
hard to get the building cleaned up, organized and ready for September. The City will be replacing the vinyl flooring in the Reception/Living room and the Alva Waggoner room in the next few weeks, with the hope it will be completed before our Club opening. Marita Jordan, Membership Chair, and her committee are hosting the September 6th Membership Luncheon at 10:00am. Please plan on attending, it is a wonderful way to catch up from the summer and see what the Club Departments are planning this year. Reservations are highly recommended and guests are welcome. There will not be a charge for our luncheon’s this year. Projects Chair, Karen Bond will have the Advised Woman’s Club Cookbooks available, her presale orders have been fantastic. Brenda Skinner, our hardworking Yearbook Chair has sent our yearbooks to the printer, fingers crossed they will be ready by September 6th. Thank you to Barbara Stancill and Janette Skrasek for a hugely successful Garage Sale in May, they and their Committee are the hardest working ladies I know. I look forward to chatting with each of you. I value the age diversity of our membership. I celebrate the hard work and commitment of our Charter and longtime members and the new members with their fresh and invigorating energy. My Board of Director’s reflects this and I am honored to serve with each of them. Please don’t forget to call the Club and make reservations for the September 6th. I hope to see you there and it is my wish that you enjoy the Club year we have planned.
