LET US PLAN YOUR NEXT EVENT From wedding receptions and bridal brunches, to bar mitzvahs and business luncheons, Greensboro Country Club offers a variety of venues for any special event. Whether it is food, service and/ or room setups, personalized menus, or audiovisual equipment, our trained professionals take care of the smallest details to ensure every function is seamless from beginning to end. Both Clubhouse locations offer a variety of venues for your event. The Irving Park Clubhouse event rooms include our Ballroom, Irving Room, Carlisle Room, Carlisle Bar, Granville Room, Donald Ross Terrace and Board Room. The Farm Club event rooms include the Clubhouse, porch and courtyard. Greensboro Country Club is also the perfect location to host seminars, meetings and training events. Our rooms are configured to accommodate a power lunch for two or an all-day seminar for 150 people in our grand Ballroom.

The Ballroom is the centerpiece of Greensboro Country Club’s special events facilities. This grand venue hosts spectacular wedding receptions, anniversary parties, birthday celebrations and dinner dances. The ambient lighting of the nine dazzling crystal chandeliers, spacious parquet dance floor and ornate fireplace make this room a special destination to create everlasting memories!

The adjoining Carlisle Bar can be added as a prelude for cocktails or to add additional space to your special event.

EVENT SPACE - THE FARM Overlooking the Donald Steele designed golf course, this country setting allows for a private venue located 10 miles from the Irving Park facility. The rolling green fairways and majestic sunsets are a unique location for seated events up to 150 people and reception gatherings for up to 250 people.

MAIN CLUBHOUSE

Newly updated, casual, rustic charm abounds at the Clubhouse at the Farm. This is a perfect venue for an intimate reception and seated dinner. The Clubhouse features an oval dance floor and a retractable glass wall that opens to the Farm Porch and Courtyard.

THE BACK PORCH & PATIO

This beautiful covered location is the perfect place for a small gathering or an addition to an outdoor party on the sprawling front lawn adjacent to the Donald Steele golf course. Using both of these areas together creates a unique event experience, enjoying the natural beauty outdoors and the informal, yet elegant atmosphere of the Clubhouse.

SERVICE CHARGE & EVENT TIME A 20% service charge and sales tax will be applied to all event food and beverage charges. State law requires that the Club tax the service charge. All events at the Club are required to end by 12:00 a.m.

GUARANTEES In order for our staff to effectively plan and execute your event, the attendance guarantee must be made 72 hours in advance of the event. In the event we do not receive your guaranteed number 72 hours in advance, the greater expected number of guests will be considered to be the guaranteed number. The price of the event is based on the guarantee or the greater number of guests in attendance. In the event the actual number of guests in attendance exceeds the guarantee, the Club will do its best to make accommodations for the additional guests.

ALCOHOL BEVERAGE POLICY Club rules & North Carolina law prohibits any member or guest to bring outside alcoholic beverages to any event taking place at the Club with the exception of bottled wine. Club rules also prohibit any member or guest from leaving the property with an alcoholic beverage. Host corkage charge is $12 per 750 ml bottle.

FACILITY USAGE FEE

The facility usage fee applies to any private event or business meeting that is not directly paid for by a Greensboro Country Club member. This fee does not apply to a specific member’s private event or any member’s recurring group or club that uses the Club facilities on an annual basis four or more times per year when booked together in advance.
