As the summer sun graces our beautiful grounds, I extend to you my warmest wishes for a joyous 4th of July� The upcoming months promise unforgettable moments, joy and a renewed sense of togetherness within our cherished community
Summer is a special time at Greensboro Country Club. Our vibrant Club truly comes alive, embracing the spirit of camaraderie and celebrating what makes us unique. Whether you’re an avid golfer, a racquets enthusiast, a lover of exquisite cuisine, or simply seeking tranquil moments by the pools, we have curated a variety of experiences and services to enhance your summer journey�
We greatly appreciate the feedback we receive from Members who complete our short survey after visiting any of our restaurants. Your insights allow us to quickly address and correct any issues, ensuring we continuously improve and offer a better experience to our Membership. Please keep the feedback coming!
Change is often challenging, and our transition to the new website and app is no exception. Many Members have started enjoying the Curbside Service on our app and ordering their pick-up food through the new platform. Even more Members appreciate the convenience of poolside service, with food and drinks delivered directly to their lounge chairs. We are still working on several details with our support team and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period
While everyone enjoys the bustling Club atmosphere, our senior staff and finance committee are diligently preparing next year’s budget� We heard your requests last year and are prepared to complete the budget for the Board's review a month earlier than in prior years. As you may know, our financial year runs from October 1 to September 30, meaning we are approaching the end of our third financial quarter. Greensboro Country Club, like many other country clubs, operates under a unique business model compared to other industries
As a Member-owned Club, each Stockholding Member owns a part of Greensboro Country Club As your Management Team, we strive to balance pricing and costs while determining any necessary dues increases� To provide the
services and facilities Members desire, we must cover rising expenses We can either increase prices for individual services and products, raise dues or grow our Membership base. In partnership with GGA Partners, analysis revealed that we are still below our 2018 membership levels, indicating ample room for growth�
The sustainability of our Club relies significantly on Membership� Increased Membership not only supports our financial stability but also enables crucial investments in infrastructure and maintenance As members and stewards of the Club's legacy, we rely on your support to help the Club grow its Membership, ensuring the continued prosperity and vitality of Greensboro Country Club

Website and App Information
As you know, the new App and Website are in place! We are continuing to work some of the "bugs" out, and we appreciate your patience with the process. While the bugs dwindle in number, we are launching new services that will assist you in communicating and interacting with the Club�
New!
• Curbside Service can now be ordered directly from the app! When placing your order, please note pick-up time at checkout, as it may have changed due to volume at the time you originally selected. When you arrive at the Club to pick up your order, please call Curbside Service at (336) 691-5807 to let the staff know you are at the Club, and they will bring your order to your vehicle� Curbside Service is available Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. (please note that pick up starts at 5:30 p.m. when the kitchen opens for dinner).
• Poolside Service is a new and exciting addition to the app� You now have the ability to order from a menu on your app and have your order delivered directly to your lounge chair! What is better than that?! As a note, please be aware that the system in configured with two separate menus: Beverages and Food� You must order from each menu separately. Poolside Service is available Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a�m� to 7:00 p�m�
• Lightning Warning software has been added to the website and the app� This new feature allows you to see when lightning is in the area and provides a "countdown clock" for those wishing to return to their outdoor activities on the course, courts and pool. Please note that this is not an alert system, but a tool to assist you in getting back to your activities. Please listen for the horns that signal when lightning is in the area�
Coming Soon!
• Golf Lessons soon will be available to book on the app and on the website. Your booking will start with choosing your Golf Professional and course. Then you will be able to see the Golf Professional's schedule and simply book a time that is open.
• Court Lessons, Personal Training and Spa Services will also be available on the app and website soon� We are launching Golf Lessons in the first phase, and will follow with all remaining services�
Please Remember...
• If you have not logged into the new app yet, you will need to download it from the App Store or Google Play Store. Simply search for "Greensboro Country Club" and you will see the app which has a logo with a white background and a gold GCC logo.
• Please take a few moments to choose your email interest groups (formerly "opt-in groups") such as Golf, Racquet Sports, etc. We have started to utilize the interest groups when sending out emails, and we do not want you to miss something because you were not opted into your favorite groups� You can pick your interest groups by going to your profile on the website or by choosing "Email Groups" on the app�
• We will continue to improve and add services to our new website and app. Thank you for your continued patience as we grow!
