Greensboro Country Club
From wedding receptions and bridal brunches, to bar mitzvahs and business luncheons, Greensboro Country Club offers a variety of venues for any special event. Whether it is food, service and/or room setups, personalized menus, or audiovisual equipment, our trained professionals take care of the smallest details to ensure every function is seamless from beginning to end. Both Clubhouse locations offer a variety of venues for your event. The Irving Park Clubhouse event rooms include our Ballroom, Irving Room, Carlisle Room, Carlisle Bar, Granville Room, Pavilion, Donald Ross Terrace and Board Room. The Farm Club event rooms include the Main Dining Room, the Sunroom and the Private Dining Room. Greensboro Country Club is also the perfect location to host seminars, meetings and training events. Our rooms are configured to accommodate a power lunch for two or an all-day seminar for 150 people in our grand Ballroom.
The Club facilities provide complimentary wireless Internet, state-of-the-art audio visual services as well as the finest in food and beverage offerings. The Club prides itself on flexible room setup to include classroom, conference style as well as an intimate executive boardroom setting. Τhe Club at Irving Park A Room for Every Occasion
The Rotunda The “Grand” entrance to the Irving Park clubhouse with its black and white marble checkered floor, grand piano and two-story domed balcony.
The Irving Room
Grass cloth wall coverings, custom mirrors and iron chandeliers create a warm ambiance for up to 80 people for a seated event or a private reception for 100 people.
The Granville Room Custom window treatments frame views of the Irving Park Pool and Tennis facility. Seating for up to 24 people and small gatherings for 35 people.
The Carlisle Room & Carlisle Bar Striped sheer drapes, sculptured carpeting, traditional paneled bar and views of the Irving Park pool and golf course. The perfect setting for 40 people seated or a reception for 75 people. The Irving Room, Carlisle Room, Carlisle Bar and Granville Room can be set apart or joined together for an intimate dining or reception gathering.
The Ballroom
The Club’s pinnacle setting for seated events up to 320 people and reception gathering for 500 people. Adorned with silver crystal chandeliers, custom draperies, imported Asian carpet and inlaid oval parquet dance floor. The front brick balcony overlooks the Donald Ross designed golf course.
The Boardroom
Over 100 years of Club history grace the walls of this traditional mahogany conference with seating for up to 14 people for meetings and private dining.
Donald Ross Terrace
Both the Pavilion and the Donald Ross Terrace are poolside and overlook the Irving Park golf course. Outdoor seating is available at both venues, with the 21 seats at the Donald Ross Terrace Bar and accommodations for up to 200 people. An indoor space is available at the Pavilion for up to 80 people seated and receptions for up to 125 people.
Τhe Club at the Farm
Overlooking the Donald Steele designed golf course this country setting allows for a private venue located 10 miles from the Irving Park facility. The rolling green fairways and majestic sunsets are a unique location for seated events up to 100 people and reception gatherings for up to 225 people. Main Dining Room
Casual comfort abounds at the Main Dining Room of the Farm Clubhouse. This is a perfect venue for an event that calls for a little less “pomp and circumstance” and provides a relaxed, easy and comfortable atmosphere.
The Sunroom
The Sunroom at the Farm Clubhouse is a bright and cheery “sun-filled” room that can seat up to 40 people.
The Farm Porch
This beautiful covered location is the perfect place for a small gathering or an addition to an outdoor party on the sprawling front lawn adjacent to the Donald Steele golf course.

Beverage Services The Club offers a variety of beverage services. All beverages are charged on a per person consumption basis. There is a $25 per hour charge for each bartender. The Club suggests butler passing a beverage as an elegant welcoming gesture to your guests. Beverages are passed for 45 minutes and charged based on per person consumption. General Guidelines
Service Charge
A 20% service charge and sales tax will be applied to all event food and beverage charges. State law requires that the Club tax the service charge. In addition, members and guests reserving private event space on Club-Sponsored Holiday Event nights will be subject to the 20% service charge and sales tax.
Guarantees

In order for our staff to effectively plan and execute your event, the attendance guarantee must be made 72 hours in advance of the event. In the event we do not receive your guaranteed number 72 hours in advance, the greater expected number of guests will be considered to be the guaranteed number. The price of the event is based on the guarantee or the greater number of guests in attendance. In the event the actual number of guests in attendance exceeds the guarantee, the Club will do its best to make accommodations for the additional guests.

The Club requires security guards for all events with 100 or more guests. The charge for a security guard is $30 per hour per guard. The number of security guards required corresponds to the number in attendance at the event as follows:

Alcohol Beverage Policy

Club rules & North Carolina law prohibits any member or guest to bring outside alcoholic beverages to any event taking place at the Club with the exception of bottled wine. Club rules also prohibit any member or guest from leaving the property with an alcoholic beverage.
