Golf Tip From Director of Instruction, Robbie Fritz

“Swing the Weight of the Clubhead”

From Tennis

“Tennis Footwork Routine - Workout Anywhere! (Video courtesy of Connecting Tennis)

Practice each exercise for 30-40 seconds (20-30 seconds pause in between) and do it again.. three sets of all of them are great, four to five sets are better if you are more advanced!

Let’s Build a Balloon-Powered LEGO Car! This balloon LEGO car activity is easy and simple, and it’s a fun time for the entire family! Have a great time watching the cars go and be the judge of which car went the farthest and the fastest!

Materials Needed LEGO Bricks LEGO Arches LEGO Wheels Balloons

Instructions Have your child create and build his/ her own LEGO car.

Show your child how you can build a hole to stick the balloon through. To make the cars move you need to either use a Lego piece that’s an arch or has a hole in it.

Once the cars are built, blow up the balloon and hold the end securely. Place it through the hole in car and then hold it until it’s time to release them. If you are losing a lot of air while trying to place the end of the balloon through the hole, you can tie a rubber band around the end until you secure it through the hole. Once it’s through, then you can take the rubber band off and then release the car to see how far it will travel.

You can release them one at a time or you can set them up to race against one another.

Countdown: 3...2...1... GO!
