Pan Preparation You can use a variety of pans: muffin tins, cake pans, rectangle baking dish, etc. Spray well with nonstick cooking spray first. Apply a layer of sticky bun smear to the bottom of the dish - the more you add the stickier they will be. Then sprinkle with chopped pecan pieces - the amount is also optional depending on how nutty you want them. Now your pan is prepped and ready for the cinnamon rolls.

Tennis Tip Competitive Tennis can be long and grueling on one’s body especially as the weather gets warmer. Tennis training should focus on physical training, high-energy foods and adequate hydration. Here are some tips in preparing for tennis this spring. Physical fitness training for tennis should include: • Flexibility Training (stretching regularly) • Speed & Agility Training (working on court with drills and play) • Strength Training ( upper and lower body) • Endurance Training (cardio regularly-walk or run or bike outside) Proper nutrition for match play should include: • Pre-Match Diet - High carbohydrates to supply energy reserves, moderate in protein and low in fat is recommended (e.g. Fruit yogurt or banana, smoothies made with fresh fruit, power bars, bagels, pretzels or saltine crackers). • Post-Match Diet – Eat food and drink fluids that replenish muscle energy and electrolytes lost in competition (e.g. Pasta, salads, rice, energy drinks). • Hydration – It is very important to hydrate adequately before a match. 20 ounces of water, 2 hours before is encouraged and consume water during match, about 5 ounces every changeover. Hope this will help you prepare for competition this year during warmer weather.
All About the Kids! It’s all about being safe and staying sane! Keeping the kiddos happy is part of this! We will be sending out additional videos, games and ideas for you to keep the little ones busy.
Homemade Slime Recipe Slime Ingredients:
8-ounce bottle Elmer’s white school glue 1 1/2 – 2 Tablespoons contact saline solution, more as needed 1 Tablespoon baking soda Food coloring, optional
Method:
Add glue and food coloring to bowl. Squeeze the bottle of glue into a bowl. Add your food coloring if desired, and stir until combined. Then mix in baking soda. Mix in saline solution. Add 1 1/2 Tablespoons saline solution and mix until combined. If it’s too sticky, add 1/2 Tablespoon more solution at a time. The more you add, the thicker it’ll be. The less you add, the slimier it’ll be. Knead the slime. Using your hands, knead the slime until it holds together. It will be wet and gooey at first, but just keep kneading until it all comes together. Store slime. Store slime in a container with lid, or in a zip top bag. The slime is best to play with on a place mat.
