General Manager/COO's Message (336) 275-8506
Dear Members, As I look through this newsletter, it is such a pleasure to have staff working with committees to write about so many wonderful things to which we have adapted. We are opening more amenities and services as the governor's Executive Orders lift, and are working with the Board, Committees and Members to accommodate the Membership's needs.
The supply chain is the second component that is vital to our livelihood. Due to the pandemic and staffing limitations, items we have used for years are not being produced, are not available or warehouses have closed.
May | June 2021
I mention these two factors of doing business so that the Membership is aware that the GCC staff on the front lines and back of the house in every department has worked tirelessly behind the scenes so the Membership does not feel the impact. Dear Members: Thank you for making GCC and GCC at The Farm the place to be! Irving Park renovation has created an exciting anticipation for Membership and the launch of the Farm Membership is off to a great start. There are still open slots for Farm Memberships, so please share the opportunity. As of April, we have 33 remaining Farm Memberships available. Stop by and pick up Membership information that you can easily share with someone you feel would love it at The Farm! Here's what new Members are saying about GCC: As a member of the NC Golf Panel for the past 11 years, I have had the privilege to play all but a few of the top 50 golf courses in the state, as well as hundreds of others. I’m very excited to join The Farm because it is, hands down, the best overall facility for golf in the Triad, and arguably the state. The rare combination of Zoysia fairways and Champion Bermuda G12 are shared with only a few of the best courses in the Southeast, and in NC, only the Dogwood course at CCNC and the Farm. The amount and quality of turf on the practice facility far exceeds that of anywhere around. Add the F&B and level of service that GCC is known for makes The Farm a very special place we should be proud of, thanks for having me. - David R. Buchanan What really stood out to me was how welcoming The Farm staff was when we came for our first Easter Brunch. It was heart-warming! They even knew us by name! - Christina Griffith
I took my first Operation 36 class and the golf staff were so great to squeeze me in! They are so much fun! We enjoyed one of the Thursday Fried Chicken dinners and have scheduled Mother’s Day Brunch. We absolutely love it! This is where we will entertain now! - Alyson Miller Do you know someone who you feel would love to be a Member of GCC? Remember those Just One rewards, and call me at (336) 275-8506 or email me at l.frasier@greensborocc.org today! Sincerely, Lori Frasier Membership Director

The creation of The Macallan draws on the vital contributing influences of Spain, North America and Scotland - and of their respective natural raw materials, combined with traditional methods and craftsmanship.
