Relationship building 101 Know, Like and Trust

As the real estate season comes into full bloom with spring, you want to remember this: people do business with those they know, like and trust. Relationship building is key to any business and in order to build relationships, we need to get to know the individual we are working with. Here are three questions you should ask yourself when networking with REALTORS® at Greater Tampa REALTORS® events or classes. • • •
WHY do the REALTORS® wake up every morning and challenge the day? WHAT motivates them and sets them apart from the rest? HOW do their processes work and how can they benefit you?
Understanding these three questions will assist you in creating the rapport and confidence necessary to assure you that your clients get the first-class service they deserve. It is important to focus on building relationships with those who go above and beyond to make their clients happy. These qualities can be vital in any business to ensure that you will have someone that you are able to relate with, share the same work ethics and be able to
assist in any transaction, even the transactions that may become complex and/or complicated. Building relationships also includes building trust. As entrepreneurs, it is important to go the extra mile for our clients as they are the foundation of our business. One thing I love about GTR is how committed we affiliates are to help our real estate partners learn and grow. I encourage all the Affiliates to network with other GTR members and get to know, like, trust and most importantly build a relationship with those who are invested in the overall future of real estate.
