You need: • Empty bottles (glass for older kids and plastic for younger kids) • Valentine’s Day stickers • Construction paper • Yarn or ribbon • Markers or Crayons
Directions: 1. Clean bottles and remove all labels. 2. Have children decorate the bottles with stickers and markers. 3. Have children personalize messages on the construction paper. 4. Roll paper and tie with yarn and insert in bottle. 5. Seal bottle, tie ribbon around top and give to that special someone.
These bottles make great table decorations.
Valentine’s Photo Frame You need: • Empty heart shaped candy box • Favorite photo • Scissors • Craft knife • Glue
Directions: 1. Clean out chocolate box and print out a favorite photo to match the size. 2. Trace the heart shape on the photo and cut the photo to fit in the candy box. 3. Glue the photo into the heart box. 4. Cut three sides of a rectangle into the top of the candy box with the uncut edge at what is the top of the heart. 5. Fold the rectangle down and that will be the stand for the frame. 6. Glue the top of the box (with the stand) upside down to the bottom of the box with the picture inside. 7. Let Glue dry and give finished frame to your sweetheart. February 2020 • 9
