DCM (Wednesday, March 17, @ 5pm-6pm) March’s DCM was the last ever DCM that our Key Club has had for this Term!. Our former LTG, Lorelei Casillian gave her last meeting, and allowed our new LTG Governor, Reagan Carroll to lead. In the meanwhile, former LTG Lorelei announced that we will be making bereavement cards for a Kiwanian named Marine Baker who has passed away this year. May she rest in peace as the Key Club and Kiwanian Family will miss her dearly, and will always be there for us in our hearts. This is all we mostly did for our DCM Term. It was nice for our club to have Lorelei serve our division term; now it’s time to experience what Reagan has for us this new coming term, starting April.

Mask Making Throughout this month, one of our soon-to-be former Key Club officers decided to get creative and make some masks for service hours! She has experimented with many different types of t shirts and other forms of cloths to make her creation, and even experimented with hand - soed stitching to create her masks! Here’s some pictures of how Kassandra Espinoza’s masks turned out so far, based on her mask making experiments. Her service event has lasted her until the end of this month, and is willing to make more for the month of April!

TLC Cards Throughout her entire Key Club Term, our former Key Club president, Angel (Shanya) Mascarenas dedicated her time to make cards for the people at TLC Care center, with over 70 hours of work! As stated in her article submission, she says, “each one has detailed drawings, different dad jokes, and a personal message from me…” Great Job for Angel completing her service hours for her term in Key Club, and it was a pleasure to have her represent us as our Key Club President for our School! Here’s some pictures of what she’s done for the people at TLC.

Message from the President: Hello Everyone! What a crazy month March has been. Especially since we have been getting our service hours, voting for our next term officers and having our elects in training for the past few months. Now the time of the 2020-2021 term is coming to an end. It has been an absolute honor to serve the Green Valley Key Club. I have been in this club since my freshman year of high school and wouldn’t trade a moment of time I spent with my fellow key clubbers. From the first time I said, “I call this meeting to order..” I have loved this club, and now this is my last, “I adjourn this meeting to order..” on March 11th, 2020. Thank you for everything! With a heart of serving, Shanya Mascarenas 2020 - 2021

Message from the Editor: The Month of may has been an easy month for us to catch up on service hours. The only meetings that we’ve really attended were our General and Officer meetings for our Key Clubbers as well as attending our last DCM for the month. Other than that, March was a chill month for us Key Clubbers. It was nice to have our Senior leaders lead our Key Club, and I thank them for their dedication and service for their term. Now we have new Key Club Elects that will take over their leading positions, and I can’t wait for the many amazing things they’ll do for our club still during this pandemic, and hopefully after this pandemic as well! As for me as a Senior editor, I still may be sticking around making newsletters for this term until someone takes my place, and for the future new editor who is reading this, you’ll do an amazing job! I believe in you! Good luck on this newcomming Key Club term, and we’ll see you in the next Gator Gazette! Kassandra G. Espinoza 2020-2021
