Bulletin Editor Hi Gators, This month was full of various opportunities for our club. From helping out with school functions and fundraisers to attending Conclave, we have expanded our horizons. I hope this is just the start of expanding to new services events and we continue to move forward as a Key Club. I also hope that the next term strives for something better than what we have already achieved. Sincerely, Nick Phillips Bulletin Editor

“The Root Beer Float stand for the Blaine Thompson Memorial was so much fun! We had to learn our "system" to make ourselves as efficient as possible, and by the last day we were moving so fast. I brought in my own ice cream scoop so we could move faster and make less of a mess lol! Overall it was amazing and a great team building experience between all of us! We kept selling out of ice cream before lunch would even be over, so I would say it was an overall success!" Brooklyn Darmody,11 8

Blaine Thompson “January 28th, the community came together to remember Coach, Teacher, and friend, Blaine Thompson. A memorial walk was held on the Green Valley track. Participants paid 5 $ at entry and all proceeds went to a scholarship fund. Participants walked the mile with many smiles. Amber Stringari, 12 "This was the third annual Blaine Thompson Memorial Walk that Green Valley High School has hosted. Green Valley Key Club was fortunate enough to help at this event. We had nine members attend this event. Our members helped in various ways. We had two members run the ticket booth and entry fee, while the other eight sold merchandise. All the funds raised from this event, will go to the Blaine Thompson Memorial Scholarship, which Green Valley High School funds through this walk and other fundraising events, like Key Club's beer float sales." - Nick Phillips, 12 12

Con “This was my first conclave since being in key club! I loved the experience, seeing all the candidates and seeing everyone from around the region. It as very exciting, especially finding out that the new mascot for Division 28 West was The Moons! I hope I go to conclave again next year!” -Jennele Nguyen, 10 “This was my very first conclave since becoming a member in Key Club, and it was a fun, exciting experience. Jasmine, our LTG, set up some fun icebreakers for us to play and I made some new friends with them and also found out, Jenny is my “soulmate”. We also voted on our new Division 28 East (yes, East) LTG and found out the new Division 28 West mascot was The Moons! Conclave was an exciting event and I can’t wait for next year!” -Hector Ballez, 10
