HE EDITOR Hi Key Clubbers!

With Homecoming, football, RTC, and lots of other activities, October was a very hectic month for a lot of us. But with Halloween just behind us and Thanksgiving around the corner, it’s really beginning to feel like the holiday season. Find out what our Key Club has been up to! Sincerely, Diane Sorkhab Bulletin Editor

O CARNIVAL Green Valley High School’s student council hosted the annual homecoming carnival and football game. Each year, different school clubs and organizations are able to set up booths with games or treats.

This year, GV Key Club’s booth included a cornhole carnival game with candy prizes, and exclusive GVHS Gator lanyards.

The carnival game was a hit with the younger visitors, and all of the lanyards sold out by the end of the homecoming game!

Regional Training Conference is a big Key Club event in which the clubs of Region V meet to have spirit rallies, participate in workshops, and get inspired to serve. This year’s RTC theme was ―throwback 90s.‖ The clubs incorporated this theme into their spirit gear and cheers.

Check out some of our favorite RTC cheers below! Use a QR code reader on your phone to be redirected to the videos.

RECAP: RTC Before participating in RTC, there are some prep sessions that members can’t miss. Vice President Nia Fernandez hosted these prep sessions and taught every attendee the cheers they needed to know for the big day.

“ RTC attendees successfully learned cheers and hand movements on October 11 from 6PM to almost 9PM for Regional Training Conference. I was proud to learn that every member who came finished their tutus. Our two flags and key cut-out got close to being done. Having productive and cooperative members relieved a lot of stress for their officers and knowing that we will go to RTC prepared and looking good really pays off!‖ — Nia Fernandez, Vice President
