Word from Editor Welcome Back! November has been a pretty chill month for us. After RTC, everyone has been tuckered out, but we’ve introduced new service events and can’t wait to share with our members. This month we volunteered at the Nate Mack Festival & had a booth at First Friday. Both were very successful and fun! Until Next Month! <3 Sincerely, Angel Mascarenas 2019-2020

Word from President November has been good. We are still recovering from the whole RTC rush but we’ve been doing fine. Our goal this month is to retain membership within our club so we’ve been planning club service event and a club social towards the end of the quarter. Other than that November has been very good and not as stressful as October! Sincerely, Sarah Pelle 2019-2020

ZOMBIE RUN 2019 When:
Saturday, October 19 4:40-7:30pm
Where: What:
Cornerstone Park
The Zombie Run! This was one of our more
active and fun service events. Our members got their make-up done to look extra scary, jumped out at runners, and towards the end, gave out medals for those who finished. Overall, the members had an awesome time, and are looking forward to volunteer for other runs as well.

“I went to the zombie run for the first time and it was super fun! I got a lot of scares and even some screams, haha. I can’t wait to do something like this again tbh.” -

RTC Prep When: Every Tuesday & Thursday from Late August - October Where: Green Valley High School What: RTC Prep is where members attending RTC come and volunteer their time after school to prepare. We are the host school, so we have to set up the materials used in the workshops, transport water to classes, make signs for clubs, etc. This is all possible thanks to our amazing advisor and hardworking members.

RTC When: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 8:00am - 8:00pm Where: Green Valley High School What:
RTC is one of the huge events that key club attends. It is a member favorite and a truly magical experience. Our members call time was 6-6:30, and started off the events by welcoming our fellow key clubbers! Throughout the day members did workshops, listened to speakers, and then had the cheer battle! I am proud to say Green Valley won the Division 28 E Spirit Stick!! Lets not forget everyone else who showed immense dedication and hard work throughout the day. Till next year ;)

November 1st Friday HOT CHOCOLATE When:
Friday, November 1, 2019 1st and 2nd Lunch
Where: What:
Green Valley High School Quad
Every month on the first friday, Green Valley
allows for clubs to sell merchandise or food to help fundraise. This First Friday we sold HOT CHOCOLATE! The weather was chilly, so hot chocolate was perfect for the occasion. Members went out and advertised with signs, and our board members prepared the Hot Chocolate.

Nate Mack Harvest Festival When:
Friday, November 1, 2019 4:30 - 7:00 pm
Where: What:
Nate Mack Elementary School
This is our clubs second year attending the Nate
Mack Harvest Festival. It is a fun event that involves children, games, and yummy food. Our members mainly ran the games for the kids. Best part is that no matter if you won, you still get a candy! A plus is that all volunteers get a “food ticket, which gave our members a hot dog, chips, and soda of their choice. Overall, it was once again one of our club's favorite events.
