Bulletin Editor Hi Gators, As the year comes to a close, I hope

that we can all say as green valley key club members, that did good this year because we did just that! We helped in many aspects of our community and I know that there is still so much we haven’t done yet. It can be difficult to come to these events or be a committed member so I say you deserve a pat on the back. Can’t wait till next year! - Ly Huynh Bulletin Editor

Fall Rally “This was my first year at Fall Rally South and at Six Flags and I wish I joined earlier than my senior year in order to do it again. I don't like rollercoasters that much, but I'm glad my friends pushed me onto them. My favorite part was when I got my friend Ben on a water ride and was freaking out because he didn't want to get wet. It was so much fun cheering with other key clubs from California and getting to meet them and make new friends. -Edith Gonzalez, Member

Fall Rally “This year's fall rally south was my first and it was a blast! I personally don't like rollercoasters and since I was hanging out with valley, they pushed me on one. It felt great to conquer a fear but I still dislike roller coasters haha! Overall i really loved it and i would go again. I got to meet my internet friends and I loved the experience. Jennele Nguyen, President

Key to “Key to college was by far the fastest way to learn about college than any YouTube video or some random online article can ever tell you. Regardless of the event being at UNLV it was so helpful in terms of how to apply for scholarships, what kind of financial aid besides scholarships can help you, and most importantly how to even apply to college. Plus if anyone that goes to key to college was going to UNLV, they gave tours which basically showed everything within that block. It was by far the most helpful and useful event about college than anything the internet can give. - Thomas Raymond, Treasurer

Key to “Key to College was an amazing experience! Since I am a junior in high school, I thought all of the information presented was extremely helpful for my upcoming year when I have to send in applications for colleges, as well as applying for scholarships. The workshops included: financial aid/ scholarships, housing, campus involvement, applying for colleges/classes, and a tour of the UNLV campus! I was extremely grateful to have this opportunity.

Street Teens Blanket Making

Street Teens “Due to many extra blankets being left from a service workshop at RTC, my board and I have decided to make the rest of the no-sew blankets for street teens with our club as service hours. These blankets are made by taking two blankets, cutting the edges then tying the two together to make one nice, warm blanket. I am extremely happy to say most of the extra blankets are already finished by my amazing club members and ready to be donated. We hope to deliver these to the homeless teens in Las Vegas before the harsh holiday weather hits, it warms my heart to know we are able to help such a great organization. -Hector Ballez, SAA/Historian

President’ “Hello Green Valley Key Club! I'm so excited for the closing of this year so that we can go and rest so that we can come back refreshed! We did a lot of great stuff this year but I know that there is a lot more we can do. When we come back from winter break, let’s do even better than we did last year. Looking forward to seeing you guys then!”
