HE EDITOR September was a busy month for all of us going back to school. With new members, fundraisers, and service events, it was a busy month for our Key Club as well. This issue contains recaps of several of these events along with a look into upcoming event opportunities in October. Hope you enjoy! Have a safe and happy Halloween!

EMBER DCM September’s Division Council Meeting was hosted by Southeast Career Technical Academy (SECTA).

Twelve members attended to learn about other clubs in Division 28 South, discuss opportunities for upcoming service events and socials, eat pizza, and socialize with other members of our division.

RECAP: CAR W GV Key Club held a car wash at school in which members advertised for a $5 car wash and washed each car themselves. All of the money raised was added to club funds, which relieve members’ travel expenses and contribute to various charitable donations throughout the year.

RECAP: K FAM Our members were invited to a picnic at Sunset Park, hosted by our Green Valley Kiwanis family.

Lots of food was served, and several different Key Clubs came together to participate in icebreakers and get to know each other.

S CLUB FAIR

Green Valley held a club fair during the lunch period in which students could check out all of the different clubs GVHS has to offer. We were able to recruit new members who didn’t know about Key Club before!
