Conclave
Cards for Troops (Saturday, January 16 @ 2-3pm) Throughout this January, Green Valley Key Club decided to make a dedication to the Military and the other troops that serve our nation. By Making a dedication to our nation’s troops, we made a Cards for Troops Live Session for our members to socialize with each other, listen to music, and get the group going with catching up to our service hours. Here’s some of the cards that our members made so far!
Among Us Night (Saturday, January 23 @2:45-3:45 pm)
Throughout this month, our Key Club has decided to do another Among Us night with our members. It was another one of these nice days to socialize with our Key Club members, and have some fun. We might be doing more of these Among Us sessions more often every month, as it brings our members and officers together as a club!
Conclave (Saturday, January 30, This years Conclave was short as it was all done online. Each one of our District candidates did a speech that describes why they would be a great candidate to lead as an LTG officer, and here’s the people that our district club has elected so far! In general, all the speeches that our candidates said were very interesting and inspiring for our members to listen to, so good job for the people who have volunteered to be one of our district’s LTG candidates for this year!

Then Right after our Conclave meeting, we had a DCM session where our LTG, Lorelei Casillian announces to us about our upcoming club service event called Lilac Card Making. A service event that prepares us to make cards for next month’s Valentine’s Day. We had a chance to participate early on the service event during DCM as well as to take pictures with our LTG elects. Here’s a picture of how our Conclave/DCM meet looked in general.
Cards For TLC (Outside service event) As our club is catching up with service hours, we have a Key Clubber who dedicated her service hours on making cards for the people at the TLC Care center. Her name is Rania Elgammal, and check out these creative watercolor marks she’s made on each of her cards!
Thank you fo ry Rania Elgamm our service al!. - G VKC
Message from the President: Hello Everyone! January has been a month of bittersweet feelings. As the term is ending, we are having our Officer Elections! January is all about getting those hours in for all our members, and interviewing potential officers. We also had an Among Social to keep our members active, as well as have more service events for our members to earn service hours. See y’all next month!

Message from the Editor: Welcome Everyone! The month of January has been a busy month for us, especially with our election coming soon next february, January has also been a time for us to catch up with our service hours and for our officers, a month to attend Conclave for the first time in a virtual meet! The speeches each candidate made were inspiring, and I’m proud of the efforts each candidate made in order to earn their positions as our division’s LTG leaders! As I felt that January has been a busy month for all of us Key Clubbers, I can’t wait for what events February will bring to us. Have a nice day, and stay tuned to the next Gator Gazette!
