DCM Meeting ( Monday, June 8 @ 3-4 pm) Today’s DCM was all about planning ways to stay more in touch with our Division Key Club Members (virtually of course). Our DLT Governor has talked to us about how the Pen-pal system has worked for our members into being more socially bonded with our Division peers, and how a new activity called the Service Jeopardy can work into having our division get to work into gaining more service hours. These events will also be posted in the d28e division Instagram page for more Information. Technically, in the Service Jeopardy game, our key club members will participate in a service hour activity, and the more service hours that are made, the harder the dare the Lieutenant Governor has to face! This is pretty much it of what has been discussed during the DCM meeting, including another service hour idea called the “Ding-Dong Donate” (referring to knocking or ringing on people’s doorbells as we give them grocery bags so they can donate non-perishable grocery items to charities).
Ideas For BLM Spirit Week As GVKC has been budding their heads together into participating on standing with BLM, by the ending dates of June, We’ve came with the idea of doing a BLM spirit week for our members to participate in!!! Here’s the Ideas with the final resulting flyer that we’ve planned:
And this, here, is the final result...

Message from the President: Hey Everyone, June has been a slow month for Green Valley Key Club. We had the June DCM, which provided us with useful information regarding service events we could do at home. To keep other key clubbers connected & communicating, pen pals was organized! I’ve talked to my pen pal for a bit & she’s really sweet! Our board has been working on something very close to our hearts, so get ready for July! Anyway, I hope you are all staying safe & healthy.. I can’t wait until we can serve together again!! <3 Angel Mascarenas 2020-2021
Message from the Editor: The month of June has been quite a chill month for me, despite the fact that our club had put our heads together into figuring out how we will be able to participate and stand with Black Lives Matter. So far, we have come up with documents filled with information and ideas of how our club can help, and excitingly, we had come up with the idea of doing a virtual BLM Spirit week in our social media pages to support the event! Other than that, I believe that there hasn’t really been much going on with our club this month compared to the last couple of months where we’ve been virtually and “card-making wise” busy. The card making for TLC and Saint Rose hospital is still going on though, along with the new activity our DLT leaders came up with called Service Jeopardy (I honestly have to get working on more cards and service projects ~ heehee… I’ve only made 3 cards from the past month of May). I do bet though that the next month will be a very busy one as the International part of our club has set us doing a bunch of virtual meetings from July 1-3, so I hope that July has more fun and interesting events our club can participate in.
