DCM Meeting (Wednesday, October 14 @ 5pm-6pm) For this month’s DCM, Our LTG got to do all of the dares that our Green Valley Key Club has chosen from last month’s DCM Meeting. Other than that, our meeting talked briefly about how we will participate for our Mario Ka-RTC event and how to be a part of PTP Spirit Week’s activities posted on social media. Our LTG galso gave us some advice of how to stay active throughout our days as they pass by. This is the ending results of our LTG after she has done all the dares!:

Dog Toy Live Session (Wednesday, October 21 @ 3:30 pm-4:30 pm) Compared to last month’s Dog Toy Live Session, it was calmer. Our members all seemed to know how to make dog toys from the last event so we just had a fun time socializing with each other through the google meet as we made the toys. This is what we’ve gotten done so far!. Our GV Key Club President, Angel Mascarenas has made 5 dog toys in this event, and this was her experience: “I had a fun time at the Dog Toy Live Session with our club. We were all talking and catching up with each other while making dog toys! My primary colors were white, blue, black and grey. Can’t wait to do more live sessions like this. -Angel Mascarenas

Mario Ca-RTC (Saturday, October 24 @ 10am-2pm) Mario Ka-RTC has been a really busy day filled with virtual meetings. From giving you tips about how to be a smart procrastinator, to giving to tips of how to master your officer position ; Key Club member, Mario Ka-RTC was filled with lots of helpful information. It was kind of like attending the KCI meetings from the first three days of July, 2020, but this only lasted one full day until 2pm. Anyways, it was an interesting event to attend as the hosts even dressed up as their RTC mascots! Now our Key Club has to wait what will happen in the spring time so we can plan for our Fall Rally event, and by then, we will hopefully be competing with our Key Club Cheers.

TLC Cards Live Session (Wednesday, October 28 @ 3:30pm-4:30pm)

Our Key Club though it was a good idea to have our members socialize with each other, so we’ve created another themed live session so they can join. It was the same experience we had with the Dog Toy Live session except for we were making cards instead of dog toys. Here are some of the cards that got completed from attending the event:

Our Key Clu b Member, Julian Espinoza, p articipated in our live event and has finishe d 3 covers fo the cards fo r r TLC.

Julian’s sister hel ped by writing inside the cards.

Chalk Art (An anytime service event) Throughout this quite busy month of october, especially with RTC and Live Sessions going on in our Club, our Vice President, Isabelle Jones decided to serve our community by making some chalk art!. Based on the artistically worded pieces, she quoted a saying from Tupac explaining that “On a dark night,” there’s always a “Brighter day.” Check this out! I went outside and drew some things with chalk. I did this for about 3 hours. I drew a quote from Tupac saying:’for every dark night there’s a brighter day’. Along with the quote I drew a little sun and moon. This is very fun but it was hot outside.” - Isabelle Jones

Message from the President Hello Everyone! October has been a productive month for us! We has a Dog Toy Making and Card Making for TLC Care Center lives sessions through google meets. These events helped our members get get the hour they need! On Oct. 24th, we had RTC! We are super proud of what the LTG’s have accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next? See you next month! <3 Angel Mascarenas 2020-2021

Message from the Editor: Welcome Back to the Gator Gazette! The month of October has been quote a busy month for us as we had RTC going on, as well as 2 live service events!. They were both fun to attend but most of all, RTC has been very informative this month. They gave lots of good advice of how to be a better member in Key Club, or how to be a better version of yourself in general. The live service events were in a way relaxing moments for our members to attend and socialize with each other, as well as an opportunity to have their service hours done for our club. I’ve enjoyed the new live session we’ve included in our club where we got to make Cards for TLC!. like the Dog toy session, our host got to play music for us to get in the groove with our event, and we got to hang out with other Key Clubbers as well. In General, October was a fun month for me and I bet for all of us members who’ve attended GV Key Club throughout this year. I hope we have more busy and exciting months like this again. Have a great day and we’ll see you soon! Kassandra G. Espinoza 2020-2021
