PENN YAN, NY: On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, Joyce Carol Stanley, age 81, passed away at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home.
Joyce was born on April 3, 1943, in Bu alo, NY. Joyce grew up in Cheektowaga NY. On October 27, 1962, she married Ronald (Sonny) Stanley. In 1973 the family moved to the Penn Yan area. Joyce’s life was centered on her family and her faith. She spent much of her time gardening, preserving the produce from the gardens & taking care of their ve children. Joyce was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 17, 1973. She truly enjoyed the time she was able to spend in the ministry, telling her neighbors about Jehovah God and his promises for the future.
She was an independent sales representative for Avon at di erent times in her life. She spent three years selling in the early 70’s in the North Tonawanda area. Late in the 1980’s she again entered the ranks of Avon and spent the next 25 years building a successful business. She retired at the age of 70 and dedicated the rest of her life to the ministry.
Surviving family members, daughter, Ramona Ayres; son, Ronald (Peg) Stanley; son, Je rey Stanley (Jill Hoose); daughter, Kimberly (Je rey) Morsch; grandchildren, Bethany (Drew) Hall, Nathanael (Tashonta) Stanley, Sarah Stanley, Alyssa Stanley, Josiah Morsch and Noah Morsch; and great grandchildren, Cayden Hall, Jalynn Hall and Colt Girruzi. Joyce was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer in 1989, her husband in 1998, and her son-in-law, Michael Ayres 2024.
A memorial service will be held on July 21st at 3:00PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. 1600 State Route 54, Penn Yan, New York 14527. In Lieu of owers donations can be made on JW.ORG or to Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home. We would like to thank all at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home for treating our Mom like family.

PULTENEY, NY: Darlene G. LaBreck, 69, of Campbell, New York passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2024 at home with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Betty omas Hagadone; and her brother, Tom Hagadone.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth R. LaBreck of Campbell; her children, Loretta (Tony) Maldonado of Avoca and Jason (Kim) LaBreck of Horseheads; her siblings, Sy (Cathy) omas of VA, John (Connie) Hagadone of Avoca; Terry (Louise) Hagadone of Lima, Lynn (Serena) Hagadone of Hammondsport, Donna (Donny) Parsels of Cohocton, Mary Stroud of FL and Laura (Steve) Schwitzer of Wayland; grandchildren, Brandon Maldonado, Samanatha Knowles, Seth Maldonado and Christopher LaBreck; her great grandchildren, Ivy, Paxtyn and Owen; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Darlene was born in Wayland and attended Avoca Schools. She worked for Meacon and Polly-O for several years. She enjoyed gardening, canning and maintaining her yard. Darlene collected lighthouses.
