DARTMOOR PONIES – In Hand

Affiliated to the Dartmoor Pony Society Affiliated to the National Pony Society (NPS) All ponies must be registered with the Dartmoor Pony Society.
25. Stallion or Colt, 2 years old and over.
26. Mare without Foal or Gelding, 4 years old and over.
27. Brood Mare, with Foal at foot, 4 years old and over. A special Rosette and a Prize of £5.00 will be awarded to the Best Foal by a Registered Dartmoor Stallion and out of a Mare shown in this class.
28. Yearling, Colt, Filly or Gelding.
29. 2 or 3 year old, Filly or Gelding. Special rosette to the Best 2 Year Old.

The Okeleat Cup presented by Mr & Mrs. K. Locke to the Champion.
Classes 25 - 29 are qualifiers for the NPS/ M&M In Hand National Championship to be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show in August 2024
NPS/ Blackertor & Sharptor Studs M&M In Hand Silver Medal Rosette Championship
A Silver Medal Rosette is offered by the National Pony Society for the best registered pony owned by an NPS Qualifying or life member in the NPS Affiliated Mountain & Moorland In Hand Sections (Champion and Reserve Dartmoor, Shetland, Miniature Shetland, Welsh and Mixed M&M to compete). Membership cards must be presented in the ring to receive the medal and/ or qualification.
NPS Silver Medal Rosette Championships: These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS
The Dartmoor Pony Society offers a Rosette to the Champion who is shown by an Exhibitor who is a Member of the Dartmoor Pony Society. Current Membership Card MUST be produced in the Ring before the Rosette is awarded.
The Dartmoor Pony Perpetual Challenge Cup presented by the late Mrs. G.W.A . Jackson will be awarded to the Best Female (Mare or Filly).
An Okehampton Show Special Rosette will be awarded to the Best Female.
The Alfie Reed Cup and Rosette will be awarded to the exhibitor gaining the highest total of points in the Dartmoor Classes.
