These lunchtime recitals provide an informal opportunity to celebrate the talents of soloists and ensembles on a regular basis throughout term.
LAMDA pupils and Drama Scholars perform their exam pieces before an audience of staff, parents, and friends, gaining valuable stage experience and showcasing their acting abilities, ahead of public examinations later in the year. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to celebrate LAMDA at Haileybury.

FIFTHS ART EXHIBITION Thursday 18 January 6.00 pm SciTech Courtyard The artists in Fifths have been working hard to develop their ideas and apply their technical skills to the creation of a final piece. This exhibition is a display of final pieces from their first coursework project.

GERMAN CAFÉ Friday 19 January 4.30 pm Grubber Our popular German Café is back and Removes Pupils and Parents are warmly invited to join us for some complimentary German food and drinks. Pupils will be working in the Café as waiters, taking and serving orders entirely in German. Do not worry if you do not speak the language – on every table there will be language help so that you too can place your order in German.

LOWER SIXTH ART EXHIBITION Thursday 15 February 6.00 pm Music School Foyer This exhibition showcases a selection of work from the Lower Sixth pupils’ portfolios. The exhibition explores a variety of processes and techniques based around a range of themes including environment, figures and structure. Photography has been a key factor in the creation of many of their pieces and pupils have carefully considered composition and lighting in their developing works.
HAILEYBURY MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR FINAL
In this exciting week-long annual competition, every musician at Haileybury has the chance to compete for the title of Haileybury Musician of the Year, culminating in a public evening recital in Bradby Hall. It promises to be a spectacular evening of the very best solo music-making the School has to offer.

March SCITECH OPEN DAY FOR PARENTS & ALUMNI Saturday 9 March 11.00 am SciTech This is an incredibly exciting time for the School as we push boundaries to provide the best possible teaching and learning opportunities for our pupils, staff, and wider community, in our new science and technology centre. The new buildings double the size of the School’s previous provision and include new science laboratories, the latest IT suites, and robotics and DT facilities. We warmly invite parents to come and visit our incredible new facilities and learn more about our science initiatives and partnerships.
DANCE SHOW Wednesday 13 March 7.30 pm Big School The annual dance show is a highlight in the Haileybury calendar bringing together the entire school community in a celebration of dance. Hosted by the pupils themselves, the evening features stunning dance performances, including street, modern, jazz, ballet, tap, bollywood and contemporary and performances range from solos and duets through to large troupes and ensemble numbers. Always an entertaining and high octane event!

MIDDLES ART EXHIBITION Thursday 14 March 6.00 pm SciTech Courtyard An exhibition that presents work produced by our artists in Middles as they begin their first coursework project exploring the idea of moments and the themes within this. Pupils have worked across a range of media and materials exploring what they can use most effectively to support their developing ideas. The work has strongly been influenced by their visit to the Tate Modern to view the exhibition “Capturing the Moment” which explored the relationship between photography and painting.
MUN Friday 15 – Sunday 17 March Haileybury Campus This year, Haileybury is proud to welcome delegates from around the world for its Model United Nations (MUN), the largest one in the country. MUN is a role-playing activity, in which pupils assume the roles of delegates representing various countries in the committees of the United Nations tasked with solving a range of global issues through research, lobbying, and debate. This year’s theme is “Collaboration Within a Polarised World”.
