It’s been a fantastic few months, filled with laughter, great company, and plenty of special moments One of the highlights has been the visits from the pre-kindy children at a local daycare their energy and big smiles never fail to brighten our days! Our ‘Invite a Friend to Lunch’ days have also been a big hit, giving everyone the chance to bring along a friend and introduce them to this wonderful Day Centre, whilst sharing a meal and meeting new people
We’ve been lucky to have Harry the One-Man Band entertain us with his incredible music, bringing plenty of toe-tapping fun to the centre And of course, we couldn’t let Chinese New Year pass without a celebration there was delicious food, festive decorations, and lots of joy shared among friends

We were blessed to have Father Giancarlo join us for a beautiful Mass, offering a time for reflection and connection His visits are always a highlight, bringing comfort and a sense of community to our attendees
For those with a love of cooking (or simply a love of good food!), one-on-one cooking lessons with our cook, Del, have been a fantastic addition to our schedule
The first mass for the year was recently held at the Day Centre, with Father Giancarlo leading the service. One of our attendees, Agnese, gave a wonderful reading during the service Thank you to everyone who joined us

Attendees have enjoyed making scrumptious dishes such as bread and butter pudding, swapping recipes, and of course, tasting their delicious creations
Love was in the air as we celebrated Valentine’s Day in style! The centre was transformed with romantic decorations, and our attendees enjoyed a beautiful candlelit meal together
It’s been a wonderful few months, and we’re looking forward to more shared moments, laughter, and new experiences together Stay tuned for what’s coming next at the Villa!

Monday 31st March is our next date for our ‘Invite a Friend’ day It’s a wonderful opportunity to share a meal and introduce someone new to our Villa Dalmacia community Simply let one of our friendly staff know one day earlier, so a meal and transport can be arranged
Plus, receive a box of chocolates in thanks for participating!

Dancing with Harry the One-Man Band!
What a fantastic day it was at Villa Dalmacia Day Centre recently as we welcomed Harry the One-Man Band! From the very first note, the room was filled with energy, excitement, and plenty of toe-tapping fun Harry took us on a musical journey through the decades, performing classics from Edith Piaf, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, and Engelbert Humperdinck Attendees clapped along, sang their hearts out, and even took to the floor for a little dance there was no resisting the rhythm!
The joy and laughter were infectious, and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces enjoying the music together A huge thank you to Harry for sharing his talent and bringing so much warmth and fun to our centre We can’t wait to have him back again!
Furry Friends Visit Villa
Our Villa family recently had some extra special visitors Panda & Soda, two adorable pups belonging to our staff! These furry friends brought endless smiles, warm hugs, and plenty of tail wags as they made their rounds, spreading joy to everyone they met
Joe, in particular (pictured below), formed a special bond with Soda we think he may have found a new best friend! Moments like these remind us why Villa Dalmacia feels like home a place filled with love, laughter, and the occasional paw print

Little Visitors, Big Smiles at Villa Dalmacia
Villa Dalmacia was once again filled with laughter and joy as we welcomed some wonderful little visitors from a local early learning centre! The children and our attendees had a fantastic time playing games together, sharing smiles, and creating heartwarming memories
Their energy and excitement lit up the room, bringing so much happiness to everyone’s day A big thank you to these special young guests for reminding us of the simple joys of play and companionship!

Easter Markets at Cockburn Senior Centre (10th April) a great day out with unique Easter handmade gifts
Easter Egg Hunt at Manning Park (15th April) a fun day out in the fresh air with a festive egg hunt!
Friends & Fun:
Sparrows Visit (8th and 23rd April) – A chance to interact with these delightful young children
Stay Active & Engaged:
Zumba (2nd and 28th April) – Get moving with this fun and energising workout
Fun Experiences:
Easter Hat Parade (17th April) - a creative and fun experience during this festive time. Cooking with Del (29th April) – A hands-on cooking session with our talented cook, Del.
